great place to relax – I found this place a few weeks ago and man i just love coming back. you can come in relax and decompress your day. Talk to some great people while getting a great drink and some good mexican food. mmm! mexican food i think im going to head over right now
Good Food - cheap drinks – Fun hole in the wall. Enjoyed the night but met the chef and ate the food. So good (and cheap) I have gone back for lunch. Apparently a lot of locals will even call their lunch orders "ToGO".
Greatest place ever – Me and my friends ate drank and played pool all night for $20. Man the food is great the people are friendly. I love how in this day in age you can get a cold drink at a good price.
Discrimination – They do not serve everyone and find ways to kick you out and not serve you.
I have lived in Los Angeles all my life and have never been racially discriminated. I thought senseless discrimination was over with in this era. I suggest people protest this bar.
According to UN International Conventions, "the term "racial discrimination" shall mean any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life." This definition does not make any difference between prosecutions based on ethnicity and race, in part because the distinction between the ethnicity and race remains debatable among anthropologists According to British law, racial group means "any group of people who are defined by reference to their race, colour, nationality (including citizenship) or ethnic or national origin".
Racial discrimination is treating people differently through a process of social division into categories not necessarily related to "race". Racial segregation policies may officialize it, but it is also often exerted without being legalized.
BEST NIGHT IS FRIDAYS FOR KARAOKE – I GO HERE EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT FOR THE KARAOKE. THIS IS A SMALLER HOLE IN THE WALL BAR WHICH I LOVE. IT IS NOT ONE OF THOSE SUPER CROWDED MEAT MARKET BARS. SOME REALLY GOOD SINGERS COME DOWN ON FRIDAY'S. LANI WHO WORKS THE KARAOKE IS A GREAT KJ. WE ALWAYS GET TO SING OUR SONGS AND HAVE A GREAT TIME. LOVE IT WHEN SALLY IS BARTENDING, SHE IS SO SWEET AND FUNNY. IT IS A TOTALLY RELAXED CASUAL SETTING WHERE YOU CAN JUST POP IN AFTER WORK FOR A DRINK AND MEET SOME FRIENDS. THERE IS LOTS OF FREE PARKING. GREAT PLACE FOR FIRST TIME KARAOKE PEOPLE WHO ARE KINDA SHY CAUSE YOU WILL FEEL COMFORTABLE THERE. HOPE I SEE YOU ALL DOWN THERE TONIGHT.
Fun Friday Late Nights – Quality singers on Friday Karaoke (Country, R&B, Rock, very diverse and great songs). They have two Pool tables, JukeBox, Bingo, and plenty of booths or tables and stools.
