A classic So Cal landmark! Great for games, but I personally like to frequent their monthly flea market. A must for holidays like New Years and 4th of July.

Flea Market – An $8 entrance fee unlocks the best treasures Los Angeles has to offer every second Sunday of the month. Looking for one of a kind sunglasses? Check out Andre in the vintage section - he's my glasses guru. Need a new retro coffee table? There are dozens of sellers waiting to make a deal with you. Just remember to bring cash, wear comfortable shoes and just relax and enjoy yourself! How can you not... you're shopping!

Vintage and Antique galore! – I think you have to have something in mind if you want to go here, or else you'll just be bombarded with millions of trinket and everything will start to look the same (like all flee markets). Get place to find antique furniture and memorabilia.

Neat Antiques But WAY Overpriced! – This is a great venue, has tons of antique and vintage items. However, it costs a fortune, 20.00 or 30.00 to get in early, and it is WAY overpriced. Antiques shops are cheaper! This venue has grown in popularity and the prices have soared along with it. Do not waste your time if you are looking for antiques to resell.

Go with a purpose – There are so many vendors at this monthly event that I highly recommend you go with a purpose. Have a general idea of what you're looking for and zone in on those items. If you don't you'll be walking around for hours thinking to yourself...ooh, that looks cool...and aaahh, that would work. You could easily be inundated with too much input and walk away with nothing in your hands at the end of the day. Of course, if you just like to look...this is the ultimate window shopping experience.

Excellent variety – There was so much to see at this flea market in what seemed like so little time! There was an abundance of friendly vendors willing to negotiate prices and good finds throughout the whole lot. I got some great stuff for my new apartment even though I'd planned to restrict myself to "just browsing."

California's most famous flea market is collectible heaven. – The Scene
Shoppers arrive early in droves, wearing good walking shoes and sun hats, and pulling shopping carts. Don't make other daytime plans--you'll want to spend all Sunday perusing the endless sea of antiques and collectibles, vintage clothing and new merchandise from roughly 2,500 vendors.

The Goods
In the antique and collectibles area, you'll find row upon row of '60s- and '70s-era metal lunch boxes, vintage French movie posters, Mission furniture and even antique bathroom sinks. The area devoted to new merchandise--just within the entrance gate and winding around the actual stadium--carries such diverse items as office furniture, home spas, beauty products, ethnic clothing and animal feed. Keep in mind that most vendors are savvy about what they've got, so be sure to negotiate for good bargains. Example: A "Partridge Family" lunch box goes for $120.

GREAT! – This flea market was fantastic! They had amazing stuff & all of the vendors were pretty willing to come down on prices! I got some great home decorating pieces and furniture...all for incredibly reasonable prices! It is huge though. I arrived around noon and stayed until closing & I don't think I saw more than 1/3 of it!!

Great afternoon walk – The Rose Bowl Flea market is short on bargins unless you get there a 00-Dark-thirty when it opens. Then you are competing with the antique dealers. It is a good place to find unusual items, people watch and of course stock up on pickles and beef jerky (a swap meet staple). The cover charge to get in is a bit steep, you need to pay for parking and most vendors prefer cash so come prepared. It gets hot in the summer so bring your sun block.

Fireworks not – I have heard that this is the best place to come to see the 4th of july fireworks so i head off with some happy childish delight...Only to find that its really hard to get into this place and so very crowded! The only good thing that happend out of getting stuck in aimless traffic and stupid people was a great big panada bear(a costume ofcourse)that hugged my friend! If your coming out here next year for the show leave hours in advance and just park on the street. The locals throwing a party prolly wont even notice that you werent invited! Other then that man what a zoo! Oh and yes its huge
