Great place and location. – I didn't like the review that is posted before this one.
They do a credit and back round check before they even think of letting live in here.
They are working in making the outside of the complex better than what it look before.
They also have a laundry and fitness center.
The inside of the apartments looks really good too.
The new manager is way better than the one they had before.
If something is wrong or broken they will get it fix right away.
They have a lot of MILITARY AND POLICE Officer that live here.
The Military makes up most of the residents here.
The best part is, is that it's like about 10min from the gate next to the Inf. Museum.
I work on Ft. Benning so travel time is very important to me.
Warning – Looks like a great deal but not a very safe location. On my way to see the property a man ran up to my car and tried to open the door! Needless to say I never made it to view. To be brutally honest if you are light skinned, single female and/or don't have a criminal record this AREA probably is not the neighbor hood for you. It's a shame the area is so bad that the property has to suffer but it does explain the extremely low rent.
Much much better, new management is making me glad I moved in! – I just moved in after being told that new management was making several changes. I am glad I came in. Just this week, the changes are pretty impressive
Even though I've been lots of interesting places in military housing, it is a relief to see the trash cleaned up, the new laundry facility that's here, and the included cable is a nice touch! I am looking forward to the workout rooms and pool I heard was going in soon! I like the folks in the management office, very professional and helpful too. I am telling some of my friends coming down from Knox to move in next to me.
Avoid Moving Over There – I recently moved over to Garrett Woods and I moved out the next month. I could never move my furniture into the apartment because the apartment came with creatures. My apartment also came with big holes in the walls and all sorts of junk inside of the where the Gas people are supposed to light it at. Not to mention, the management in the office seems to forget if you have paid your rent. It was the worst moving experience that I have ever had.
