Great for A weekend out – The atmosphere is a fun place with a great view. The food was great, I had a chicken sandwich and chocolate cake for dessert. Both were excellent. The service was great and the servers was very nice. Perfect for a night out with your friends or loved one. The mood can be however you want it. Outside or inside with friends or romantic dinner. The tavern for drinks with the girls or boys. What ever the occasion Tony P's is the place for it. I have been going here for 3 months now and i have not had a bad experience once.
Highly Recommended – Easy to park. Tasty bread that they bring to your table. Friendly Servers. Food was delicious. Dessert was great. Well priced and huge portions.
Go here. – Go here for a great meal, friendly service, and nice atmosphere. I got the lemon chicken and started with the wedge salad. It was delicious and I got a mini dessert that was satisfyingly good.
OK food & service – Went there on a saturday night for a late dinner...we sat on the patio which has a nice view of the boats. Food was OK - I had the linguine with mussels which was good but my garlic bread was cold and tasted old. My friend had the steak and shrimp which he said was just OK. The service was good although kind of informal. The restaurant was quite loud and I wouldnt recommend it for a date, probably better for a large group of people.
Tony P's was delightful – I loved Tony P's as soon as the valet parked my car. The delicious smell from outside the restaurant was unforgettable. The service was very good with our server friendly as can be. Our food was timed correctly starting with the soups and waiting till we finished them and then brought out the entree. The food was delicious. I started with Clam Chowder and had Chicken Parmesan both were very good. The view was amazing and made our dining that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend to anyone to go to Tony P's for a delicious meal.
Love Me Some Tony P's! – What's not to like about Tony P's? You can either watch any sporting event on one of their twenty or so TV's (they have all of the sports packages) and enjoy the full menu in the great bar; or you can sit out in the restaurant and enjoy views of the marina. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, and the owners Tony and Danny are great, too. The menu is broad (from burgers and other sandwiches to seafood and steaks to pasta dishes), and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a great drink menu if you're looking to try something different, and the 20 beers on tap cover all tastes. Another thing I love is the parking- they have a huge lot, so no problems there (sometimes this is valet, but it's only like $3).
From the menu, I would recommend starting with the No Bones (boneless chicken appetizer) and a cup of the chowder. If you get a salad, make sure you ask for the bread, which is mouth watering. The burgers are very good, the mixed grill (featuring steak, chicken and shrimp) is killer, the steaks are good, and the pork chops are awesome! My favorite dish, though, is the Southwest Chicken- love it! The fresh seafood is always good, and if you go the pasta route I recommend Tony P's special pasta- a huge helping of pasta with cappacola, meatballs, sausage, mushrooms, spinach and several cheeses. A great meal, and you'll have enough to take plenty home with you to heat up.
Oh, by the way, they have a separate party room that they rent for groups of up to around 50 or so, which has three big screens itself. It's a really great setup if you want your own space for a small bash or an offsite meeting.
The best time at Tony's is football season- all the college games on Saturdays (including the Big 10 Network), and then the entire NFL package on Sundays (even have the NFL Network). Also great for March Madness and especially for Laker games. I think it's the best sports bar in LA, and I've been to just about all of them. :)
Very Mediocre Food – What is going on with citysearch? This is the second restaurant I am rating today that says it has 5 starts when numerous people have given it less. They need to fix their rating system. This place is about 3 stars, but it does have a fun atmosphere. I have eaten in both the restaurant, with a beautiful veiw of the marina, and the bar, which is fun and loud. This is a great place if you want to have a drink with a bunch of buddies or to watch a sporting event. They can fit several large parties and have tons of televisions. The reason I gave it three stars is that the food is average at best. The quesadillas are okay. The desserts are disgusting. I mean horrible. The key lime pie is tasteless and their chocolate brownie things is sickening. None of my party of three wanted to finish it and we all thought it was gross. Like I said, go if you want to have a drink and hang out with friends. Don't expect the food to be much and stay away from the nast desserts.
Go There Often! – I personally love the food at Tony P's. There are two different atmospheres at the restaurant. There is the bar area with TVs present, and there is a candle lit deck seating or candle lit booth table seating. The food is fabulous. I love to order the Alfredo Pasta sometimes the one with salmon. The host and hostesses are very outgoing and always approach with a warming smile. I recommend this restaurant to all people. GO ENJOY TONY P'S ON ADMIRALTY WAY!!
best food in town! – I went with my boyfriend for my birthday dinner to Tony P's. The hostess seated us after waiting a short 5 minute wait on a busy Saturday evening .My boyfriend ordered the Alfredo pasta and I ordered The Flat Iron Steak. Let me tell you, the food was yummy and the service was great. I had a fantastic 30th birthday dinner and I highly recommend this restaurant to any one who is in the mood for great food and great service.
Sick for a Day – Totally disappointing and completely wrecked our Saturday. Had breakfast there Saturday August 11th. The coffee we were served was full of the cleaning substance used to clean the coffee makers (this was after we were told the latte machine wasn't working) The food was mediocre, and in fact, gave us both a bellyache that has lasted 24 hrs. It's Sunday morning and I still don't feel well -- we've both been unable to eat anything since that meal. (And frankly, we didn't even finish what we were served.) Can't recommend, and will never eat there again. (This was our first, and only, visit,)
