Friendly and affordable – I'm not sure what the lady above is talking about, but I was treated really well when I went there. I have live in San francisco and have been there twice when visiting my mother. I had a manicure and pedicure done both times and it didn't hurt. I paid a little bit extra and got a shoulder and neck massage also. The place was clean and had a nice LCD TV to watch. The ladies working there did speak a little too much Vietnamese, but thats like every other nail salon. What can ya do? I will definitely go back when I am in LA again.
Nasty and filthy – Avoid this place like the plague. My pedicure was excruciating, with the Vietnamese woman jabbing, cutting, poking and drawing blood. The manicurist must have asked 15 times "where you get manicure?" as if I'm required to come to them. I answered that I'd just moved from Claremont, where I'd gotten the nail tips. Five minutes later, "Where you get manicure," angrily. It felt like Groundhog Day. In the bathroom, everything was filthy, and there were no clean nail brushes. Avoid this pit like the plague.
