Excellent service. Ordered two magazines, got the wrong one, my mistake. Returned them and had the correct mags within a week. No problem with this guy.
My dealings with Bob's Gun Shop were excellent. I ordered a part, he immediately wrote to me and explained that he was a bit behind and would try and have my part off within the week. This he did and the part arrived nicely packaged. My gun is rather rare and the part, although very similar, did not fit. I returned the part and within a few days the charges were reversed... no questions asked. In addition, he even returned the shipping charges! You certainly can't ask for more than that,
I would deal with him again without hesitation.
Stress – I DO NOT FEEL GOOD ABOUT MY PURCHASE. They use stone age technology....I decided to fax in my order....(really no other option..) You can do it online but its not a secure website so I just didn't feel comfortable with putting my credit card info... So I faxed in my order two days ago.....I dont know what I was thinking putting my credit card info on some random sheet of paper and faxing it to a number a 1000 miles away.. Now its been two days...I have had ZERO confirmation via email, phone, carrier pidgeon....NOTHING from Bobs that say they recieved my order.....I called but get a 1970's answering machine that tells you other ways of NOT getting ahold of anyone.....I'm not feeling too good right about now... I guess we'll see.....I'll keep ya'll posted.
Great Job – While this company is not dealing with 21st century communications. They provided me with the parts I need in the time frame they told me. Yes it was four weeks and yes I could not get in touch with them in the mean time and yes their order process is not state of the art. However they told up front what to expect and they fulfilled exactly what they said. Come on, I was looking for part for a FN Browning model 1906 IMG 25 ACP. Great job, once again they (he) did what they said they would within the time frame that they told me
Hope your not in a hury! – My first and last purchase from BOB'S. I ordered one simple little part to which I was advised to allow 10 days for delivery. That's a long time to wait for one tiny part, I mean grab it and stick it in the mail! But ok, whatever, it usually doesn't take that long, they just give you worst case senario incase they decide to go on vacation for a week before they drop it in the mail.
Anyway 10 days came and went, no part, and my customer wants his gun back sometime this year. A couple more days go by, still nothing, I'm gettin worried and my customer wants his gun back sometime this year! Well 2 weeks have gone by now, still nothing, so I'm about to make contact when I get notice that it's about to be put in the mail.
2 weeks and a day after it's been ordered and payed for and it's about to get mailed! So that's 1 week for vacation, 1 week for a drunken binge, and a third week for the actual get off your butt and send my part proccess. Mean while I probably lose a customer because stupid me told him he'd have his gun back sometime this year.
This is unacceptable by any standards and no way to do business. I still don't have my part Bob!!
