I have never done business with these guys, but out of the blue, they started calling me every single day to solicit my business. I have told them I don't have carpet in my home and to stop calling, but they still keep calling every day. It is incredibly annoying and unprofessional. It doesn't surprise me that other reviewers have had similar terrorist-like tactics used against them. These people should go to prison as far as I am concerned.
After 7 years of carpet cleaning of our condo, we were blown away by the quality of service - professional and IT LOOKS GREAT!!!!!! If any spots come back in 30 days Bill (technician) said to call and he'd come back.
After 7 different companies, we feel we have found one to call again!
I don't typically go online to write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with Adobe Carpet Cleaning for anyone that is considering using them.
First the good...I signed up for their $49 Living Social deal (3 rooms and a hallway). I only had them do 2 rooms and a closet, but it still seemed like a decent deal. They arrived a bit early, which was nice and the carpets are cleaner than they were before they came.
As soon as they finished, they explained that they couldn't get a small stain or the smell of my dogs out of the carpets. No problem, I figured you get what you pay for, and this was a "deal."
Unfortunately, I wasn't done paying. They told me I needed to pay $3.00 for an admin fee. They should have advised me of this fee when I called to setup the appointment, but it's only a few bucks so no big deal. Then they said I owed ANOTHER $20.00 for pre-treatment (this was not disclosed before cleaning). When I challenged the fee, they immediately put me on the phone with their office and began spouting off lines about how "I shouldn't be complaining since I got a great deal anyways" and "I should've read the fine print." Just as I suspected, they never intended to clean my carpets for the $49 advertised deal. By this time I needed to get to work, so I paid the $23 rather than continue the argument.
Apparently Adobe doesn't understand the purpose of advertising on Living Social/Groupon. I get that the profit is sometimes minimal or non-exisitent since the site takes a 50% cut. The benefit is the potential for repeat business and references. Clearly, Adobe won't be getting either from me. But hey, at least they got my extra $23. Cleaning 3/5 Customer Service 1/5
Excellent Job!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I had beige berber carpets that were in very bad shape. They were able to remove all the stains and traffic patterns. They did an excellent job! I would highly recommend them!!
Super Clean and Respectful – I FINALLY FOUND A COMPANY I CAN TRUST AND USE MONTHLY TO CLEAN MY RESTAURANT YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST.
THE VERY BEST!!! – Great Job!!!!! We were considering to replace our carpet, but took a gamble on having it cleaned. Adobe Carpet Cleaning did an amazing job. They were on time and very nice and our carpet looks new. We had a great experience. I would definitely use them again!
Job Well Done – Despite the bad reviews, my carpets look awesome. Bill and Kerry did an awesome job. I have nothing but good things to say about them and the service.
I was cold called two days ago. That is annoying. But I did actually need my carpets cleaned, so I set an appointment. Usually I do a ton of research on companies before they come, but I didn't really have time in this case. I did my research after and I was really worried after reading the reviews here. Yes. The calls are annoying. But that has no bearing on the cleaning job!
The guys (Yes, there were two. No, neither were "huge", "menacing", or "high pressure".) came earlier than scheduled and moved EVERYTHING. I had intended on moving some of the stuff myself, but didn't have time to before they got to it!
They spent about an hour moving and cleaning. There were 2 area rugs, 2 rooms, and 2 chairs. Not the biggest job they have every done, I am sure.
They didn't move things back. Because the floors are still wet. Really, I would rather move things back myself anyway. But you don't put things back on wet carpeting! They were nice guys, but I didn't want them camping in my house for 2 hours waiting for carpet to dry.
As far as the "high pressure", I mentioned I just wanted one chair done, and was told, "Ok. If you want the other, it's $20". I said sure. They also mentioned the germicide cleaning, but it was not high pressure by any means!
Bottom line- they did a great job, were courteous and thorough, and I'll have them back!
Adobe Carpet cleaning is a good company – I have used this company three times now. Like most, i was as cold called to death, and finally gave in. A guy by the name of Mike came over and truly did a first class job. Probably the best carpet cleaning i have ever had.. I used them the second time and the next cleaner was absolutely brutal. I complained and they offered me a re-do; i was impressed! Third time round, i asked for the first guy ( Mike) he came back out and did a wonderful job. He is a true perfectionist. A basic clean is really inexpensive, but if u add on scotch guard it will increase a bit, i find the scotch guard is really worth the investment. Mike form Adobe got rid of pet stains that no one else could.. Bottom line, Adobe is good, but ask for Mike..
worst carpet cleaners – This is a SCAM! These people were such horrible people. They pester my 82 yr old grandmother with phone calls once a month and finally she agreed to have her carpets cleaned. The two (huge, persuasive) men that came out kept adding on extra costs and doing thing without even asking her. I wasn't paying attention until they asked for her drivers license number on her personal check and I stepped in and told them that wasn't going to be happening. They got very mad and started arguing with me and yelling at me. I finally gave them cash to make them go away. They came back in a couple minutes later and searched our house for a "brush" they left.. now one of my grandmother's gold watches is missing. The carpet was still as dirty as it was when they got there. They were HORRIBLE!!!! stains everywhere.. dust everywhere.. furniture not even moved back into place. They were there for only 20 minutes!!
Adobe Carpet Cleaning called and asked if I needed my carpet cleaned since they would be in the neighborhood. I don't like telephone solicitations but since my carpet did need cleaning I agreed to sign up. They came out the next day, on time (actually a little early). they said they do the cleaning with enzymes. Never hear of enzymes but agreed to give it a try. I want to say that the carpet came out beautifully. They are little pricier than some companies but if you want results, its definitely worth it.
