Neighborhoods: West LA, Pico
DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION!! – Nice young kids working there. However, do not expect to get a good pizza. I do not know if this is standard for all Pizza Huts, (it is possible that ALL locations are hit or miss and just suck as an overall operation). They obviously have no regard for the quality of food that they are making. On more than one occasion I have ordered a Large Cheese & Pepperoni Pizza, and it has arrived with almost NO CHEESE! My last experience involved me specifically mentioning this to the girl who took my order and requesting if she could assure me that it would be done correctly. Guess what...it showed up with NO CHEESE!! My only understanding is a complete disregard or even any type of awareness of the quality of the food they are boxing and delivering to customers. A one time occurence I can be understanding, however, multiple times is a sign of incompetence and, worse than that, no care whatsoever for the food they are serving or for the people who will be eating it. This reflects so poorly on Pizza Hut as a company. I surely will NEVER be eating at any Pizza Hut or Pizza Hut related restaurant again in my entire life, and I will try to dissuade as many people possible from eating there as well. It's unfortunate because when the product is done well it is very good for the taste every once in awhile, despite the extremely poor nutritional value and quality of ingredients. However, I will have to forfeit this option for food in the future because of the repeated disrespect shown to local patrons.
I gives me no pleasure to write this review, only sadness and regret at how poorly this gigantic corporate chain allows its individual stores to operate. And pity for whoever the poor kid is working in there who does not even have a manager to help him comply with (assumed) quality conrol standards or the personal dignity to make, at the very least, an edible pizza pie.
This national chain is a household name, thanks to its deep-dish and stuffed-crust pies. – In Short
Kid-friendly eat-in restaurants and small takeout shops alike sport interiors done in the signature red and white with a touch of yellow. Orders are placed at the counter--whether customers choose to stay or go--and pies are baked per request. Pizzas--from the hand-tossed to the twisted crust--dominate the menu, but the restaurant also offers chicken wings, salads and cinnamon bread sticks.
