Terrible experience at Sugarload Animal Clinic – We set up an appointment and were forced to pay even before the treatment was given to my little chihuahua. One lady in the staff was caring and nurturing the rest and mainly the owner of the clinic were more concerned about money. It has been a very painful experience, they were uncaring and greedy. I am well travelled and educated an a middle class american and I find it disgraceful treatment. I subsequently took my chihuahua to another clinic and he is doing fine. Beware of this friendly Veterinarian

HIghly recommend – My puppy was very sick, she had parvo. I called many places trying to get help for her and I was turned away. Sugarloaf asked us to come in immediately, they were very caring, knowledgeable, and attentive. They gave us a range of options for the puppy and called everyday to check on her status.

I would like to say Thank you soooooo much for all the help!

Scam Artists & Unhumane – I took my puppy to Sugarloaf because she had been throwing up, had diahreahha, and was very lathargic. They told me right away that she had parvo with out running any tests. When I told them that I wanted a second opinion they suggested that if I could not care for my pet that I surrender her or have her put down. I of course refused. I took her to a different vet and it turned out that the puppy had eaten a bad grapefruit in the back yard.

So kind and professional, couldnt have been better. – Our family dog, Lucky, was fadeing quickly this morning, she was old and had been acting sick for a day or so. But this morning it was clear that it was time. Our regular vet, who has never been very kind or polite would not put her to sleep today. He said we had to make an appointment for Monday. As did every other vet clinic I called. But as soon as I called Sugarloaf, they were kind and VERY understanding of the situation. We didnt want our very loved Lucky to be in pain anymore than she had to be, and niether did Sugarloaf. They told us to bring her right in, and we did. They made a very difficult and emotional time for me and my family so much smoother. The enitre staff was kind and understanding, they really seemed to care about our dog and feel for what I was going through. Even when there were some complications with my dog at first they handled it beutifuly, and did everything they could to let her go peacefuly and with no pain. I was allowed to be with my dog as she driffted off. After it was over I recievd hugs from the vet and assistant. They were so sweet and even gave us Luckys paw print to keep which means so much to me. They were professional and very well priced, as well as caring. I can postively say we will be taking our cats there from now on, and if in the future we decide to get another dog Sugarloaf will be the only place I will take her.

Phenomenal pet care – Dr. Amrit Rai, DVM and the staff at Sugarloaf Animal Clinic in Phoenix are quite special. I had consulted several Vets in search of competent care and subsequent recovery for my severely mangled Labrador Retriever, unfortunately without a good prognosis from any of them. I am glad that I decided to see Dr. Rai through a friend's referral. The Sugarloaf staff handled my pet's case with great professionalism and compassion, leading to complete recovery in a matter of weeks. I commend the care that they provide and would endorse them for anyone looking for quality medicine and care for their pets.

Fabulous Veterinarian, Excellent Feline Vet!!! – Dr. Rai is a knowledgable and caring veterinarian that provided extensive services to a 3.5 month-old stray siamese kitten, brutally attacked by a coyote. This kitten is now an incredibly healthy, happy and playful (neutered) little guy that is assured to have a loooong and prosperous life. The staff is warm and friendly. Convenient location and hours. Kudos, Dr. Rai. You get the HIGHEST marks for your skill and demeanor!
