Great trade allowance and excellent price on new vehicle which was a 60k truck
I was extremely hesitant about trading in my Saturn LS2, and I was uncertain that I'd find either an acceptable replacement or a price that I could afford to pay. As soon as I entered the dealership, Steve approached me and invited me to walk the showroom floor and lot with him in search of a used car that would fit my budget and needs. He was immediately friendly and accommodating, and he listened carefully to my concerns, asked useful questions and provided detailed answers to my questions. I believe he understood my hesitation about trading my old vehicle for a newer one, as he was constantly comparing the features and quality to which I had been accustomed with those of the newer vehicle.
Overall, I would rate this buying experience as extremely satisfactory; I was able to switch up to a newer, better vehicle without feeling pressured or hassled in the process of shopping for one of my most important purchases. As if my sales man wasn't helpful enough, the sales manager also came over to explain all of my financing options and warranty choices with the same laid-back, comprehensive approach, and his information was quite helpful in my decision-making process. He answered all of my questions succinctly in a friendly, authentic manner, which made this experience much simpler than I had expected.
Worst experience ever with dealership. Gave them many opportunities to make right the issues that we had with the car that they damaged during their incompetence. When the poor repairs were pointed out, I was told that I had to live with it. Since I brought this up, they have since refused to service the car that we purchased from them. I was a true blue Ford fan before all of this, but Bell Ford has successfully managed to turn me away from all Ford products. Their lack of professionalism and expertise in their service department is one of their biggest downfalls. The high pressure sales in the front office does not help. If you are looking for a good place to purchase a car in the valley, I cannot recommend Bell Ford. Please for your own sake look somewhere else. You may get lucky, but you may not. In all honesty, its not worth the risk.
They were able to find just the car I wanted when it finally came time for me to buy and worked to get me a decent price for my trade in. I look forward to working with them throughout the life of my Escape and I would recommend them.
My purchase at Bell Ford was handled so professionally. Highly recommend.
Frank was very helpful in answering all my questions and finding an affordable vehicle to meet my needs and requirements. After some looking around the lot I was glad that the Focus he
showed me surpassed all the requirements I had with a new vehicle. Excellent service from him and the rest of the team there to make me feel very comfortable, and I am set on purchasing
my new car from him very soon.
Don't take your vehicle in for service here! If you have the choice to use this dealership's service or have your tonsils removed through the rear choose the later.
To sum it up here are the key words: deceptive, overpriced and rude.
Mike Perreault is the name of the advisor and Steve something was the name of the service "manager" who was seated in an office with a totally different name on it. I took my work truck with manual windows in for repair because the driver side window just fell in the door while driving. That is apparently a very common issue with Ford trucks.
After quoting me $160.00, I end up with a bill for $403.01. Yup, $403.01 broken down as follows: 190.63 in labor, 32.39 in supplies/materials recovery and 161.63 in parts. No, there was no additional issues that came up later, only replacing the window regulator.
Now here is the kicker: the same window regulator sells at parts stores for $59 to $68 WITH NO CORE CHARGE! I understand the dealer price is more and I'm OK with it. But not only they were $160.63, but they also claim the core has a value of over $80 which conveniently does not show up on the bill. So, total part cost would be over $240.00. And they actually force you into accepting the price they dictate or you have to pay an appraisal fee of $160.00.
In the end I guess I am the only idiot to blame for taking my truck into a dealership with a reputation like this. Well, this is it.
Now I'm about to call Ford and give them a piece of my mind.
Dave was a great salesperson. Calm not pushy- loved! Joe was great also!!!
I came in looking for a vehicle, not sure which one just browsing, and the staff there were great. They helped me based on my needs - not their commission - and the overall process, from shopping to financing to getting the car all ready for pickup, was so easy.
