No Quiero Taco Bell – Despite it's mantra that it is a different place than every other Mexican restaurant, this one isn't all that different.
They serve the same margaritas, and standard taco, fajita, burrito cuisine that you can find anywhere. The portions are quite large, but there is nothing telling to give this the edge over anything else except the service.
The wait staff and hostess were all very attentive and prompt.
Warning: possibly addictive – You won't find a giant neon sign on the corner and you won't see this place in some strip mall. Aunt Chilada's at Squaw Peak hides out across the street from the resort a block in from 16th Street.
During the week there is no better place to find an authentic Mexican meal for the whole family. You won't find velveeta and Tostitos here.
But when the night has come and the land is dark, everyone comes to Aunt Chiladas to play! Want something to do Wednesday night through Friday night with live music? You had better get here early. Even with five of the bars open indoors and out Friday and the girls making homemade tortillas you will find it hard to stay off the dance floor along with everyone else.
Ask for Lance at the Loco bar!
Good ONLY for the drinks!! – I'd have to say the only things I liked about this restaurant was the margaritas and the Outdoor patio. I didn't like the food either of the two times I went. It was too Southwesternish for me and I don't like Mexican/Southwestern tasting food. Their tortilla chips, although different, were HORRIBLE. One or the other but don't mix it. I wouldn't go back unless they had a drink special but I wouldn't order ANY of their food.
Just GROSS! – Food is horrible. It's not even authentic. It's also overpriced for the quality of food. Service was slow on a Sunday evening. Save your time and money.
whats the point... – gimme a break... doesnt deserve the ratings...unless you're staying at the point ...are an invalid...you've fallen and....can't get out !!! THE only saving grace here are the margaritas...and the flour chips with salsa.... as for authentic, fresh, mexican food...fahgedaboudit...
