Following a written complaint to management re the incompetence of the recently appointed property manager, we began receiving letters about the maintenance of our doors, patio, flower urns, etc. We ended up with $165.00 in fines levied against us by this manager in retaliation. We're winter residents, have lived in this community 20 years, with the first 18 without incident, the past 2 years have been most unpleasant. This company continually recommends increasing fees, while providing inferior staffing. We are listing our property, just want out of here. Think HOA's should either be banned or much stricter oversight implemented. Would not recommend investing in a property with an HOA!! We constantly hear criticism from both winter and year 'round residents about HOA Boards as well as mgmt companies, has to tell you something doesn't it??
Chose Another Management Company - doesn't get any worse! – i wish i had the option to give NO stars. i have better things to do than write how incredibly incompetant this company is so i will be short. they are horendous, worst i have ever seen. they are beyond incompetant. where do they find these people? they need to do an overhaul of their property managers and make some changes or they will soon be out of business!
City Property Management can not keep there books straight – City Property Management consistently charges me late fees when they received their money one time. What could cause this? Incompetent? Intentional? They are very poor at returning phone calls and emails. Incompetent? Intentional? When I go to their office they say I didn't owe the late fees. I wish I could change management companies but I was turned down when I asked my HOA to do just that. Sarival Paseo Joint Committee, Inc., my HOA, seams to have a very tight bond. They even said that if I sued CPM that they would be the ones to pay. Go figure!
It can't get any worst OOO yes it can – Foe over 3 months there has been a water leak on the main entrance to Derest Passage community that no onw will take the blame for reparing it. So we have a hole about 3ft deep filled with water and a very small pice of tape around this hole.
Any child can fall into it and drownd and no one would know till it's to late.
Great service we receive from this HOA called City Property. just like the goverment they raise your rate and stick all the money in there pockets.
Look at the photo of the CEO he looks like a used car salesman from Alabama.
Sure hope there contract ends soon.
Horrible.. Can't keep books, return calls, Crooks – Have had so many issues with this company own two homes with the same HOA. Not only will I NEVER buy another home that uses this HOA I will do everything I can to get a new HOA. Constantly asses fees when there is nothing to asses, send proof pictures of wrong house. Add fees for it then never take them off. Try to contact them they tell you they take care of it, then you receive another late statement with fees..... Never ending, do yourself a favor and stay clear!
HORRIBLE FRUSTRATING – Oh my gosh...I'd LOVE to write a review of this AZ management company. TERRIBLE Book keeping.. they can't even manage themselves!!. I've sent payment....and PROOF of payment, email after email to these people. My title company even sent a payment and they can't find that either!! There's "Balance adjustments" on my account history....each time, no explanation, but it adjusts my balance owed UPWARD...and NO EXPLANATION, in spite of the fact that I've emailed 3 time about this. Each time, Patricia Petty simply emails back that they can't find ANOTHER of my payments....after I've given her the check numbers and THEIR account numbers showing they electronically cashed it. Mean while, they're tacking on late fees on top of my monthy assessment. THese people hold us hostage, yet they aren't help accountable by anyone to pay attention to business on THEIR end. I've been going back and forth for 5 emails now!
Totally unprofessional – Can't wait til their contract is up. I have no respect for these people.
