It's worth trying – If you find yourself hungry and want to get away try Roscoe's, any location food is great atmosphere is civil and the food might have you bite your fingers so watch out
no other chicken in town.... – I am all about chicken, but when I want fried chicken there is no other place like Roscoe's! Crispy, juicy and finger-licking good! The servers are hilarious and are more than happy to recommend the 2 piece and biscuit...I opt out the thigh and get a breast.
For sure the best roscoes out of all of them! – The food and service is the best, I have been to all of the roscoe's and all of them are great, dont get me wrong, but personally i think manchester has the best food.
Best Rocoes of all the locations – I was very impressed by the great customer service, food quality and the manager coming around to see if everything was going ok. Many smaller restaurants that are not considered "5 star" typically don't have the manager coming around. Also the the food is the BOMB!(as in good)
reason I love L.A. – Parking was limited but there was a guy there directing traffic in the afternoon and late morning. The food was awesome. The customer service was good....they didn't mind that we didn't really know what we wanted.
Chicken and Waffles – You have not lived tell you have eaten at a Roscoe's chicken and waffles.
the best Roscoes – All Roscoes are devine- this one is just a little better. I've never had a bad dish here, Chicken is fresh & juicy.
A cholesterol-drenched guilty pleasure.
– The Scene
Roscoe's offers no-frills decor--but hey, you're not here for the furniture. And if you're planning a weekend brunch, show up early: It's a favorite after-church spot for locals, with families arriving in their Sunday best.
An L.A. institution immortalized in flicks like "Swingers" and "Pulp Fiction," Roscoe's is not for the calorie-counting crowd: Fried chicken mixes with gravy-smothered hash browns in dishes that blissfully shun the fat-free L.A. diet. Newcomers should order the Scoe's Special--chicken and waffles, of course--but return visitors should check out other soul-food staples like the giblets and rice with gravy and onions. The waffles themselves are fluffy and slightly sweet so be careful not to drench them in too much syrup and butter. Get the Big Mama Special--scrambled eggs perfectly blended with onions and cheese--and Big Mama, one of the waitresses, might even serve it to you.
