If you want traditional mexican food, this isn't the place. It's just generic.. We decided to try On the Border on a Sunday night. We went early after reading that there could potentially be a long-ish wait. There wasn't any wait.

The food was so-so. The fajitas weren't the best I'd ever had and possibly some of the worst. There just wasn't any flavor to the chicken and the vegatables were overcooked. The tortillas were doughy and not terribly edible.

Service was slow and the server seemed to have a "holier-than-thou" detached attitude.

We won't be returning.

Bordertastic. We dine at this location often. The margaritas are fresh and the beer is cold, the service is always good and the Management is friendly. The burritos are pretty standard and the price is affordable, but their fajitas are the best in town with lots of options, not your standard Steak or Chicken (although they have these and they are good too) I love Mexican food and this is the best overall in town.

Overrated. One time and never again. This is not southwest mexican food.

What Border?. Undoubtedly the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I have tried two or three of their locations, including this one, the food is consistently awful. No flavor, no spice, no imagination.

Border Patrol. Maybe not the best, but pretty darn good. Drinks were very imagnitive, try the Mercedes Margarita. While the salsa was good, the chips were some sort of 'Pringles-like' pre-formed things which were disappointing. The sampler platter is worth a try, and with a big portion even for lunch, plenty to share or take home, and a good value. Waiters tended to ignore us for second-round drink orders, however.
