Great Tinting – HI I just wanted to thank you for another great job. This is my second vehicle tinted over the last few years. I loved the way there was no gaps and 1 peace rear installation. I also cant say how much the "personal" attention that you gave me. Being the owner and installer I am sure you don't get enough thanks and want to say thanks much a job well done
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!! – I decided last Thurday to set an appointment to get my windshield replaced. I listed a few companies who offered some cool promos.
The first company I chose to call was Solar Shield. The first thing I asked about was if there were any restrictions on getting the $100 gas card. I was told I only needed to have full coverage glass insurance. Since I had that I agreed to set up an appointment.
After my windshield was replaced on Saturday I called the owner who's phone was breaking up. He said that he was not longer offering the gas cards and that he hadn't for about a month. He blamed the false advertising on the Phoenix Metro web site for not updating when he told them to.
After speaking to him on Tuesday again I resigned to looking into one of the lesser promotions. What he said and what some of the promotions actually offered were not the same. He would not hear me out about my dissatisfaction over not getting the gas card.
On Wednesday, my wife called to try to explain why we were unhappy. He was very confrontational with her and told her that he would not be honoring any promotions to us! So I called and as soon as I identified myself he began screaming at me that I was a liar! He would not let me finish a sentance without pushing everything back on me!
I won't even get started on the strong glue smell in my car.
Overall, I would suggest FINDING ANOTHER GLASS COMPANY!!!
Rebuttle to last review – In response to this review, I would like to clarify, this gentleman had DEBRIS and dirt in his felt, which was causing it to scratch. AS WITH any warranty IF we take it off we need to send it to the manufacturer for warranty reimbursement. WE CAN'T DO THAT for this type of issue that caused the scratching. This is something that if replaced would continue to scratch! Due to the debris inside the door! As far as the bubbling you sir used ammonia to clean your window, or had your window detailed by the car wash with their AMMONIATED product, THIS AS CLEARLY STATED ON THE INVOICE VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY!
Clearly another point of someone whom is negligent, and has issues with their vehicle trying to pass the buck. We cannot please everyone but let me tell you what it really is not morally right to leave out your negligence when writing such a bogus review!
Avoid it – Stay away from this shop. Here is my story
My car was tinted with the lifetime warranty on the tint. After few weeks, tint got scratch on its own, and i did not have time so went after few months for checking. Without checking, i was told to make an appointment and they was told that they will replace the tints. When i dropped my car off, the owner says somebody has scratched it and it's not under warranty. I tried to explain him nobody has scratched it, but he called me liar and did not want to discuss further saying "case closed". Very rude customer service and useless warranty. He also denied honoring bubbling problem on the back window too.
