What is the cost? – I am considering the La Petit in Mesa, can anyone give me a price range for a toddler PT? I hear $140-160 a week, but not specific to FT or PR, or if that is even an option? What are peoples experience with taking vacation and sick time, is it really that strict?? Your thoughts please, everyone is protective of their child and everyone is on a budget! Thank you in advance!

The Best Preschool program in town!!! – This school has the best teachers and management. Each classroom has a teacher who has a degree in Education and this is very rare. And the staff has been there for many years. This includes management. I was surprised to hear when I toured that the management team has been there for over 15 years at the same location. I wanted a spot in the infant classroom but there is a waiting list until end of August. This says a lot for a daycare.

I toured the whole school and I only found happy children and happy teachers. The school was very clean and a very bright place for any child, I didn't schedule a tour, I just walked in, and they were very welcoming and very helpful.

I was pretty amazed at a Teacher called Ms Wendy, ( I hope I got her name correct) this was in one of the older classrooms, one of her students walked up to me and explained what they were woking on. For a child to know what they were working on, that says a lot about this place. It is not a daycare but a real preschool. Keep up the good work ladies. And Management , you are doing a great job.!!! One of the ladies in management was on crutches, I think her name was Saki?? ( I am sorry I made you walk) She was very welcoming and open to the questions I had for her. I felt like she knew every part of their program, The director Tracy was with another parent but she made sure she introduced herself to me. Which to me was a great thing. I took a lot of notes and I am glad that I did.

My son and I both love this place! – My son started going to La Petite about 9 months ago after a horrible experience with another daycare. This place is bright and clean and well managed. Even when the director changed and there were some parental concerns about how things were going, a meeting was called by the regional director and she sat there with a bunch of parents for 3 hours, listening to concerns and I'm telling you, the very next day you could see how they were taking those concerns into consideration and making changes to make the center a better place. The teachers here are friendly and actually seem to like kids. They have people that work here who have been in this business for years. Miss Jennifer, my son's teacher really gets into the job and has so much fun with the kids. She always takes time to talk to me, too, and tell me how my son is doing and tell me stories about things that he did. My son is in the 2 year old room and he is constantly bringing home art projects and telling me all about the fun stuff he does. They read all the time and have books where the kids can look at them at any time. My son's favorite thing, though, is the Music Man. He comes once a month bringing instruments for the kids to play and they play music, dance and sing together. One thing that I really like is the teachers in the two year old room are really involved with potty training which has helped my son in that respect alot since he doesn't have to deal with inconsistencies between home and day care. Also, there is no TV except for the older kids to watch educational videos. My son is excited to go here every morning and doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. The tuition is kind of expensive but in this business, you get what you pay for. His old daycare was $40/week cheaper but I hated every minute that he was there. It is worth it to me to pay extra for quality child care. I have never regretted sending my son to La Petite and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
