Ok so here is my issue! When I moved here I started my service with City of Peoria and was never told about this company! So my issue is! Why can they not do a debit or credit card online? Where is the web page that explains who they are? And why we as consumers can only pay by money order or cashiers check? If this is a legit Co.! Then we as consumers of AZ should be able to see online, what our services for our address is!!! I am not going to give a Co. a cashier check or money order without proof of who it is actually going too... After doing searches I was informed that this is not right! I have been here for 6 mos and they have Now just sent a letter to me! So if this is a legit Co. Wouldn't they have known from the time I started service here? And contacted me or sent a letter then???? Why NOW and 6 mos later???? I have been paying City of Peoria for my water, trash and sewage. Whats wrong with this PICTURE!!!! SHADY! SHADY! SHADY!!! Checking with City of Peoria to find out if I need to continue conversation with this company. Oh and send them and outrageous balance to keep my water???? If nothing else I feel we should make a stance and band together. Geez my cousin who has been here forever and my Aunt has NEVER HEARD OF THIS COMPANY. And my cousin lives in Deer Valley!!!!
RUDE DOESN'T EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THIS COMPANY – Rude doesn't even begin to explain how this company operates. My water was shut off for non-payment. My husband has been very ill and out of work since January 2011. I am having a very difficult time making ends meet. I phoned to see what I needed to do to get the water reestablished and was informed of the laws pertaining to tampering with the meter. I asked when I could come in to pay by bill and told her I didn't care about that, I wanted to know when I could come pay my bill. She informed me that she wasn't in the office. She flat out told me she wasn't in the office today so I could come pay my bill because she was busy "out shutting off water!" Yep that's her main objective, get paid or shut er off. They could care less about people and really don't want to hear about your problems. Oh, I was frustrated and dropped an "F bomb" so she scolded me and hung up the phone. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Mr. Fletcher you could have done a lot better in picking a wife, cause this one is ruining your reputation. Yes, it has become personal now. I wish I could move out of this area so as not to have to deal with her. But don't worry, with my husbands health it will probably only be a matter of time.... Perhaps it will be good riddance as far as she's concerned.
I am praying for the day when we get a better water company in our area. They are rude and insensitive and really could care less about the residents in the area as long as they get PAID!!! Well, I run a small business too and would never treat my customers with problems in such a rude way. WHEN CAN WE GET A BETTER COMPANY TO SERVICE OUR AREA?!?!
How long will I wait? – I am all too familiar with the long waits on returned phone calls from New River Water Company. My issue today is my $14,538.45 water bill I recieved for my 1700 square home. We need to get a new water company out in this area that knows how to operate. No website, no email, little customer service, and no help at all is not the way to run a business. If their job of riding around on golf carts checking your water gauge in the front yard is too hard it is time to check your occupation.
New River Water is not in compliance with Federal Standards – New River Water is not in compliance with Federal Drinking Water standards. I have been fed a line about when they will be in compliance. The law changed in 2006 with a 2 year grace period. It is now 2010 and New River Water doesn't seem to have a plan to get in compliance.
FHA and VA loans will not back a loan when the company is not in compliance.
Hard to reach, behind the times – This is the only company that services our area so we have no other choice for a water provider. It is impossible to reach them by phone - you have to leave a message and wait on someone to call you back. Lack of a website or email address is really frustrating for a utility company in this day and age. Even a phone system that provides some kind of automated info would be nice. They send out bills that are very small index cards with no return envelope. I don't really like the idea of my account number being plainly visible as my statement floats through the mail. Also, our bill usually arrives less than a week before the due date. Online payment would be a great option given that they are so hard to reach via the phone, and give such a short window to get the payment to them in the mail. They are also hard to deal with regarding deposits and it seems to depend on who you talk to as to what form of payment they will accept that day.
Very rude people – We just moved to AZ this month and are in the process of getting all bills organized, when I called New Riverthere was no answer so I left a message, No word from them for 3 days so I called back
that is when I noticed that this company was not the best in the world. you cannot pay your deposit with a cc or a personal check it MUST be money order or a cashiers check (BIG PAIN) and once your account is established you can only pay with a check still no cc. All this info was explained to me in a VERY rude way so just beware you will not get any kind of customer service AT ALL....
we cannot wait to get a new company out here.
New River Utility Company – We were billed wrong two months in a row. We attempted to contact them by phone 3 times within the last 2 weeks. We have left messages each time for them to call us back, and we have not heard anything from them. We went to their office, they had 2 trucks parked outside, we rang the bell for 10 minutes, but they would not answer the door. We have yet to here from them and this issue has not been resolved. They have no website, and there is no other way to contact them.
