DON'T EVER LET THIS PLACE TOW YOUR VEHICLE ! EVERY OTHER WORD FROM THE DRIVER WAS F*** THIS AND F*** THAT HE WAS RUDE AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL, TOLD MY PARENTS HE WOULD IMPOUND THEIR VEHICLE SO THEY WOULD NEVER GET IT..

My mom's car broke down on June 3, 2013 and she called AAA to get towed. Before she got off the phone with AAA Advanced Auto was already calling to make arrangements for towing her car. They were probably scanning calls, or ambulance chasing, looking for cases before anyone else could get there. Then they handed her their card which shows AAA on it and she asked to be taken to Greulich's. They said their shop Advanced Auto Repair could do just as good a job but for a better price. She asked if they were AAA affiliated and he said yes they were. So Joe the manager at Advanced Auto Repair called and said the engine need to be sent out to be rebuilt because it was blown. Trusting him I agreed for him to do the work still thinking they were AAA affiliated and I would get a warranty through AAA when the job was done. He said it would be ready June 18th 2013. On June 13th we called and found out he was a week behind because he said he sent too many motors in to the same Machine Shop. He agreed to pay $25 every day it wasn't ready after the 18th of June. June 17th he called and said the motor wasn't back and now it would be ready guaranteed by June 25th, 2013. June 22nd he called me and said he wasn't sure when the Machine Shop would have the motor done and when I asked him to call them he said they wouldn't tell him but it should be done today and if he got the motor back he would get it done. He wouldn't commit to a date for the car to be done. I went to this website and read the reviews and was shocked. How could AAA do business with a guy like this. I was very worried now. I called AAA and complained. AAA called me back and said Advanced Auto Repair Shop wasn't AAA affiliated. I asked why they sent him. They said the Advanced Auto Tow Shop is AAA affiliated but not the Repair Shop. I asked why his business card has AAA on it and when I asked him he said he was with AAA. They said he shouldn't be saying his Repair Shop is AAA affiliated. Now I thought I was at a repair shop without AAA affiliation, I wouldn't get the warranty through AAA, and he lied about all of that what else did he lie about. I complained to the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General, 9 On Your Side and a few other places. I called Advanced Auto on June 18th, 2013 told Joe the Manager now if my car isn't done right, if he doesn't keep his word and do the repairs he said he would I complained to all the above people and he would have to answer a lot of questions..AAA called me and said if the motor isn't back by the 26th at noon we would take the car out of the shop. On the June 26th Joe called me at 11 am and asked to have until 4pm to get the motor back. I said no. AAA called at 11am also and we decided to get the hell out of this shop. We took the car to Greulich's without the engine and AAA said they would have me pay the same amount I agreed to but they would pay anything above the agreement to get my car fixed. I didn't know what happened to the engine but wherever it was Joe couldn't produce it. On June 28th George's Machine Shop called me and said he had my motor ready. I asked him when did he get the motor he said on the 19th of June, 2013. So after I called Joe at Advanced Auto Repair and told him I complained to all the above people, he then decided to send my engine to be rebuilt because now he knew he had to do the job right. I don't know what he was going to do to my car but he wasn't going to get the engine rebuilt like he said until he found out all the above people were going to demand he does. the job right. Now July 3, 2013 I still don't have my car, Advanced Auto Repair no longer can pick up AAA customers, according to AAA. Advanced Auto charged me 1,000.00 and didn't do the job. He also didn't have to pay like he said he would. $25.00 every day after the 18th the car wasn't ready. Don't use his shop.

Advanced Automotive had my van in and out in a VERY reasonable amount of time. The heads were done at a machine shop of their choice and Joe and the staff were exceptionally professional. They expedited the service because I am a single mom and needed my vehicle back ASAP! Do NOT listen to the negative reviews. You WANT to do business with these guys. Trust me.

We broke down in Tucson. Called AAA for a tow. They recommended Advanced Automotive on Kold Rd. Trusting AAA, we went ahead with the repairs... which turned out to total $3,338.70.

On our first visit, we were told the repairs would be finished in 1 week. Three weeks later... the repairs were supposedly done. We picked up the vehicle... drove 90 miles home... and discovered oil leaking from the newly rebuilt engine.

We contacted Joseph Casillas (The service manager). He said "bring it in. We can have it fixed in a few minutes."

A few minutes turned into two more weeks. We were finally notified that the issue was fixed and we could pick up the van.

We picked it up... but after driving the 90 miles back home... we discovered that the van was still leaking oil from the same place. Nothing had been done.

When we looked at the paperwork for our "3 year 36,000 mile warranty" we found they had listed our odometer reading as 1 mile. In other words the warranty was 90,000 past it's effectiveness the moment we left the shop! Why? Because our actual odometer reading is approximately 125,000 miles.

Contacted the service manager again to see if they would come and pick up the van and tow it to Tucson to fix the issue. He said that we would need to pay for the tow and they would pay us back later. What???

The service manager said he would talk to the owner to see what they could do. What? How about FIXING what was supposed to be FIXED to begin with.

We are still trying to get the issue resolved.

STAY AWAY from this place... Unless you enjoy living in a nightare.

CONS......dont let them take you for your money. Stay far far away. Dont let them talk you into thinking they are actually good guys...They are not by an means professional. wolf in sheeps clothing....

ABSOLUTE WORST TOW SERVICE EVER!!!! AAA sent the guys out on a tow not only did the guy have the most insulting rude attitude, when he went to lift my car on the tow bed he scraped my bumper nearly taking the bumper off, while lifting it onto the bed. The driver was fully aware and not only did he inform me that it was going to happen but proceded to do it and watched, instead of working around it. Then when he went to drop the car of at the destination he let the car down in the middle of the street with out a word and drove off. All the while Joe from the shop was calling me telling me that I should have the car towed to the shop. ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE...... Joe was very rude and insulting. I cant believe they call themselves a business. I was looking around for Ashton Kutcher thinking it was some joke and I got punked. Please tell everyone you know in Tucson do not do business with this company. They are very shady individuals and will tweek apart your car or get to drunk to fix it right.

Stay away this shady place, oh by the way they have a little gated yard and only keep a few cars caged in. The rest stay in the alley unprotected....nice huh? Go see for yourself any given night...

The tow guy convinced me to take it to this place, i was happy and delighted they quoted way cheaper price than the dealer...they had the car for two weeks then called back and said they didn't know how to fix it. But the crazy thing is they still wanted to get paid 500.00 for "their time" I almost had to sue them to get my freaking car back...if you cant fix it then give me back my car we'll call it eve right? Sorry it just didn't make sense to me...

best service – i broke down on freeway going to nm my fuel pump went out i called aaa they sent out advanced automotive and towing this is closeing time i had no idea were to take my jeep to get repair done the driver said he could take the jeep to his shop and they could get repairs done he called the shop and chad waited till we got ther igot the things i needed out yhey pushed the jeep inside chad gave me a ride to a hotel i tried to give him some money for his fuel he refused to take it the next day he called with price i checked around dodge dealer wanted 1100 another shop major chain wanted 1183 advanced price was 902 well within reason thought i might be geting cheap parts not the case when i told them to do the work it was also time to check out of the hotel chad sent one of there techs to pick me up but we stoped at dodge dealer to pick up the fuel pump for my jeep they did not want me to wait for 2 hr for part to be sent if i lived in tucson i would only us advanced but had some health concerns and will not be driveing thru tucson anymore wanted to let every one know were to go and these bad reviews i dont think true i owed 6 fast food stores for 45 years and every time i had to fire some one they would say what ever they could to hurt sales thanks advanced automotive and crew best wishes to you all god bless

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP!!!!! – DO NOT I repeat...DO NOT bring your car to this mechanic.

After going back and forth with them for over 3 months now, I have finally resorted to bringing my Toyota to another mechanic. And, now I am out a ton of cash.

They have no idea what they are doing and have actually made the original problem worse than when I first started out having mechanical issues.

They will try to tell you that they are under "new management, etc.", but regardless, you will end up spending time and money with these folks, and they will not fix your car.

And, Chad the manager will start off being nice to you, and then when you have problems down the road as a direct result of what they did, he will start being really nasty to you. Not once did he ever apologize or take ownership for making my car worse off.

This garage should seriously be out of business.

Stay far far away!!!!!!
