I PRAY YOU ARE TREATED BETTER THAN I WAS! – *Rose, you need to get a different Bridal Consultant*‎‎



I went in the first time in Dec of 2009 and brought in some photos of some Maggie Sottero dresses. They were very nice and helpful. I ended up ordering one in a petite size since I am only 5ft 3". The dress only took 6 weeks to come in. When it came in I pulled it out of the bag it had a flaw-snag in the front if the dress. It was no ones fault at the store. I asked to try on the original dress that I tried on two mths before and it fit really nice so I figured I would have it shortened. Leticia asked me rudley YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR FITTING NOW? I said yes and she was rude to me for the next 40mins. It was bad enough that my dress was flawed and I was nice to offer to take the other dress. I was so rushed and upset by the way she treated me I called the owner Rose that Monday and told her I did not want them to cut the dress until I had a chance to have a better fitting. I am getting married in Vegas and I am going to be doing a lot of walking. I was assured that they would make it perfect . Two weeks later I go in to get my dress and when it is pinned up the dress still drags about a foot behind me. It still looks like a train behind me. I did not say anything. I just took my dress and got the heck out of there! I saw a veil I liked there a couple mths ago so I figured I would see if it was still there. I went in yesterday and it was sold so I asked if I could see other ones. I found two I liked. I asked if I bought one and I did not like it with the dress could I bring it right back the next day. Leticia said NO! I asked if I could try on a floor model dress and see how the veil looked and she said NO! Lets see I just spent $1100.00 on my dress that I am having to pay another bridal shop to alter at my expense. I am about to spend 160.00 on a veil and who knows how much for my jewelry and it is too much trouble for me to try on a dress that has been tried on by 50 other people. OK... I ordered a veil on line this morning and I have an appointment with another bridal shop to alter my dress next week. Without trying to make Rose feel bad, I do have to say this was a lesson for me. I am in sales and I did not like how I was treated 80% of the time I was in The Rose Pedal. Although a sale is paid for doesnt necessarily mean the customer service should stop there. Most brides would of walked 2 months ago and not bought the dress there. Your very brave if you step foot in there.

Worst Shopping Experience In My Life – I had never been treated so badly as when I tried browsing for myself and my wedding party here. The woman, who took her time approaching my sister and I, acted as if I was a leper, and made little grunts and irks when I chose dresses to try on. I myself dress well, granted my sister has a number of tattoos, but there is no excuse for the treatment I was given for such an important matter of choosing a wedding dress. I left on the verge of tears. I am absolutely disgusted by this establishment and ended up buying a very expensive dress in CA. They lost out on A LOT of money, losing myself and my 10 bridesmaids as customers.

Very Friendly – My daughter recently purchased a wedding dress at Rose Petal and was very happy with her dress and the attention given to her by Wilma. Wilma was very helpful and friendly.
