This place is under new managment and it is awesome! I went for a hair cut and they talked me into a massage. I'm glad I did! Great staff and quality service.

Alexis was Great - Business was NOT! – I first went to Elements Salon because of the Groupon offered. I was super excited about pampering myself and having a couple services done.

It was next to impossible to schedule everything on the same day (even booking far enough out). I ended up first scheduleing my hair. I don't do highlights (as some of the other reviews relate to) and I had Alexis do my hair as well. As for the color and service I received from Alexis - I couldn't be happier. The color was exactly what I wanted and we agreed upon together (she was very particular and ensured her and I were on the same page as to what I wanted for my color). I was a little surprised she didn't put any kind of styling product in, but I have naturally curly hair & it was the end of the day, so I was able to throw it up in a pony and walk away. This was fine!

My second service was a massage - which was AMAZING!!! Sorry, I can't remember the girls name, but she was wonderful!

My third service never took place. I scheduled MULTIPLE times, a facial at Elements - and every time the appointment would get cancelled because the person was out sick or some other excuse. I finally decided that I would just save my last service for my next appointment with Alexis because I had already scheduled that (liking her very much). I received a call today (appointment tomorrow), letting me know that Alexis no longer works there. When I asked the receptionist if my final Groupon service would be honored and I was told no. Not even a "let me see what I can do" it was a flat out no. I told them to cancel my appointment.

Very dissatisfied with the business service and management approach. I was never given an option to use my final service, the groupon is now expored and I will NEVER refer anyone to Elements because of the poor service I received AFTER my initial visit.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible – I have a small home business and not a lot of money, so when I saw the Groupon offer for Elements Salon, I was really happy - especially since I live nearby. The Groupon was for three services. I chose highlights, haircut and a massage. I went in on one day for my highlights and haircut and scheduled the massage for two days later.

My stylist was Alexis. Now, I've been getting my hair highlighted every few months for many years, and had just a little growth. All she had to do was match the color and get rid of the roots. She blew through the foils quickly; too quickly I thought. Then the haircut. I had a lot of hair cut off and that part was okay; she styled it for me and I left, leaving her a $15 tip.

When I got home, though, and really looked at my hair in my mirror, I saw that the highlights started 1/2 to 3/4" away from my scalp, showing a LOT of the darker roots, and the highlights were really wide. It looked awful, not at all natural. I also noticed that the sides and back of my hair had a strong orange tint that I hadn't seen at the salon. My husband noticed it too, and asked me why I'd changed my color to red!

I called that same night and left a message saying that I wasn't happy with the highlights, and Alexis called me back the next day. She said that it would be easy to fix. I had scheduled my massage for the following day, and she said that she'd fix the color right after that.

When I came in for my appointment, Alexis was sitting at the desk and barely acknowledged me. I went for my massage and I have to say...it was wonderful. I was all relaxed for my hair-fix, and Alexis took me right back. She told me that she was sorry I had to come back, it did look "brassy," and it was because of the bleach she used. She told me that she had used a different bleach on all of her clients that day and "noticed that something was going on" as the day progressed and her other clients had the same result. I also asked her if she could get the highlights closer to the scalp so the darker roots wouldn't show so much, and she it was also because of the bleach she'd used, that her normal bleach "moved" closer to the scalp and took care of that. I asked her if she was using the "good" bleach this time, and she said yes.

She flew through the foils again, going super-quickly, and after I was washed, she asked what I thought. I really couldn't tell because my hair was sopping wet, and by that time she was being really impatient and asking people loudly to tell her next client that she'd be "another ten minutes." She asked if I wanted product in my hair, I said I didn't need it. She asked if I wanted her to style my hair, and I said I didn't want to keep her any longer - it was obvious I was being shown the door. Again she asked me if I was happy, and I said, "I think the color looks better but I still have 1/2" of roots showing." Her response was that if I wanted it to look natural, she'd have to" weave every strand and the Groupon didn't cover that." Hmmm...I wish I'd been told that beforehand. I wouldn't have risked getting the color done at that time and would have chosen a facial or pedicure instead. Like I said, I've been getting my hair highlighted for years. I have NEVER had to return for a fix, or had as amateurish a result as this.

So... now I get to go to a skilled colorist elsewhere who can fix this mess, to the tune of about $95. When it comes to your hair, DON'T go to Elements. You might consider it if you want a massage. I loved my massage, and that is the only positive thing I can say about it.

Will never return - stylists are NOT trained. – I was so excited to go to Elements Salon because of the great reviews I read online. Unfortunately after actually going there I will never refer anyone or return to Elements Salon.

If you are looking for a good, quality hair stylist who knows what they are doing - don't go here!

The highlights were nothing like I asked for (I even showed her pictures of what I wanted) and as I stated previously they are about 1/2 in to an inch AWAY from my roots. It looks like my hair has grown out (after 1 day?) and I have had multiple people ask me why my hair looks this way.

I called to speak with a manager a few hours after I left the salon. I didn't hear back from her for a few days and at that point I was out of town. (The reason for getting my hair done - I was attending a wedding.) The voicemail that I received from the manager was very long and drawn out. It was filled with "ums" throughout and it ran about 4-5 minutes if not longer. Not very professional. Without ever talking to me the manager explained things that I already knew about my hair to me, as if I was a child. She has no clue what the real issue is and is only going off of what the stylist told her. (Which isn't true because the stylist never even understood what was going on!) I was unable to call the manager back until a few days later, and upon calling back and speaking to the receptionist I was told to leave a message. That was on 08/11. I have yet to hear back from her.

In the voicemail I was offered a "great discount" if I returned to get my hair done again. I'd much prefer them to fix my hair for free, as a good salon should. At this point though, I doubt I'd even return for that. Very unfortunate.

Alexis is amazing! – I went to Elements salon last month for the first time for a cut, color and highlights. They really took a lot of time helping to identify what color I wanted and how I wanted my hair cut. The environment is really nice, but most importantly Alexis was sooo good! She did an awesome job with my hair, to the point that people stop me and ask where I got my hair done. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new stylist - she is a very sweet person to be around as well!
