Outstanding Brunch!. Our motorcycle club visited Terra Cotta for brunch on one of Tucson's hottest July day. We were surprised to find several pitchers of iced water and dozens of clean glasses on tables waiting for us. Food was a bit pricey but very good. Portions were generous. Service and attention to detail was outstanding!

Nouvelle Southwestern cuisine is king at Cafe Terra Cotta.. The Scene
The dining rooms behind the verdigris front door can be bustling; if you've had a hectic day consider a table on the refreshingly serene side patio. The resourceful menu at Terra Cotta includes poblano chiles stuffed with chicken and shrimp, prawns stuffed with herbed goat cheese, seafood specialties and novel pizzas from the wood-burning oven. The wine list is rewarding. Terra Cotta does Sunday brunch, so call ahead to see what the kitchen is whipping up for that morning. Reservations are recommended.

great southwest food. Perfect southwest cuisine. Food combinations are amazing and the wine list is impressive. Casual by day and very nice at night. Start off with the one and only prickly pear margarita and the shrimp flautas. You can find the prickly pear at other establishments in town but theirs is just perfection! Both the stuffed poblano and grilled new york strip with rajas were excellent. Very rich food so doesn't take much to fill you up and portions are big. Build your own eggs benedict during brunch is awesome and sandwiches during the day are good. Great place for casual meal or for romantic dinner date.

superb food, decor, service. After reading the previous review, I just had to write. It's hard to believe we ate at the same restaurant. Our experience was great. The food(especially the chocolate mousse pie!) was delicious.

The service was paced well, (no one seemed arrogant to us)and the restaurant itself was beautiful.Cafeteria style food?! Come on! My husband had the goat cheese stuffed prawns, and had no complaints..he said they were wonderful. I had the honey glazed salmon and I asked for the recipe(and got it!) with a smile. We would go back in a heartbeat.

GOURMET PRICES; DINER-QUALITY FOOD. Beautifully designed restaurant, but the food is a big disappointment. This is not the Terra Cotta of a few years ago. The food has gone downhill big time. My margarita arrived with a long black hair in it. Food arrived luke warm. The stuffed poblano chiles did not have all the ingredients listed in the menu, i.e. the rice/shrimp stuffing was pure rice -- no shrimp -- and very pasty at that. Others at the table had similar mediocre experiences with the food. At the prices they charge ($20+ per entree) our expectations are for something better than diner food. This is not the first time we've been there; we go back hoping that each prior dinner may have been an off-night, but the food quality just gets worse and worse. Years ago Terra Cotta was a gourmet gem. They have retained their high pricing, but, sadly, downgraded food quality.

Truly lovely.. I absolutely love this place. Amazing food, gorgeous views of the city, attentive and knowledgable staff, and relatively reasonable in price. Despite the 'nose-turned-up' Foothills location, Cafe Terra Cotta is, in comparison, laid back and relaxing. Be sure to ask your waiter what the special is for the day, it's usually not on the menu. And check out their website for reservations and a current menu. You won't be dissapointed!

the gem of Tucson. The most stunning restaurant in tucson, from the art to the table everything was perfect. this has to be not only the best southwestern food in tucson but perhaps the USA.

Southwest Thriller. Oh how I crave this place when I haven't been to Tucson in a while. This by far the best Soutwest cuisine I've ever had. Great restaurant, great views and good service. Go for dinner or brunch.

Great for Quick Overnight. We spent our last anniversary here and could not have been more pleased. We are high protein eaters and the staff could not have been more accomodating curtailing their menu to our culinary tastes.
