The best – I took my boxer to see doctor muller my mom takes all her dashound there for a couple of years and she is the best we have ever seen I don't know why someone would make lies and say she pinned there dog down she is the mos t gental vet I have been to so I would recomend her highly and don't listen to lies and see for yourselfs.one dog we took had to be put to sleep and she lay him down and told us to go ahead and take our time wit him as long as we needed that was so nice of her
good w pets – dogs and cats all very spoiled, care efficient and appropriate, vet is not a people person, but best out of a handful experienced
If you love y our animals; don't them them here. – DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! I went because a friend (exfriend) of mine works here and said they were good. The vet came in... crushed my puppy to the table on her first visit (she said this shows dominance). After, when my dog turned to see what she was about to stick up it's rearend the doctor slapped the dog and and jammed the thermometer up the dogs hindend. My dog bites anyone who comes near her hind end quarters now... Afterward... the vet decided she would give me her opinion of me owning my breed of dog (Australian Shepard). saying it was obviously a wrong fit... I've had several of this breed of dog throughout my life and each has turned out better than the last. This vet is way out of connection with how to deal with people let alone animals. The vet techs here are insane. If the dog even moves a hint, three techs come in and pin the dog. NEVER GET A SURGERY DONE HERE! After any surgery, dogs and cats are put in 2x3x3 boxes outside on the ground... not sterile and fleas and ticks roam the grounds... Took my dog to ABC for the rest of her shots and nothing like this occurred. Don't even waste what little money you have to go here... chances are your dog won't survive the visit.
The "vet" is a monster – I was trying to save the lives of two little puppies that had ended up in my lap, and was advised to go there. On first impression, the receptionist was polite and friendly, but that's where it ended. This filthy slob with greasy hair came in, never once looked at us or introduced herself; looked at the puppies from across the stinking exam room and literally bellowed, "Just need to feed 'em is all!" She was a poor excuse for a human, let alone a veterinarian. She was offensive like no one I've interacted with- ever. She showed absolutely no compassion, only hostility toward all of us. I was shocked that she had no helpful suggestions or any kind of plan to treat the poor little guys, and I ended up crying myself, because I knew, at that point, that the puppies would probably die... And die they did, without any type of care that, if nothing else, could have minimized their suffering. I would gladly assist in running this idiot out of town on a rail.
STAY AWAY! AS FAR AS YOU CAN! – I went here because I was paying for pet insurance through my employer. When I looked up online reviews on this place there was only one positive one so I decided to give it a try. She (the gruff vet with the loud voice) barely looked at my dog and based her diagnosis on only what I told her. I've only been to the vet a couple times with my dog and the vet experience was very new to me (first time pet owner). So this seemed odd to me but I was unsure on how to handle it. She said my dog was an old lady and needed this medication special medicine. And just in case we'll give her some antibiotics too...
Then she said my dog should get some bl00d work just to make sure she's fine. She took my dog to the back and brought her back with a shaved neck. She quickly mentioned that it's easier to take bl00d that way.
This vet's beside manner was terrible! Not only did she not examine my dog, she misdiagnosed her. Turns out my dog had a urinary tract infection. She would be on that medicine for life if I didn't get a second opinion. Also she never said "I'm going to shave your dogs neck because..." I wouldn't of had a problem with it as long as I had been giving the information.
I would never recommend this vet to anyone. I would never chance it. I love my new vet at Ft. Lowell and Country Club. I got rid of the pet insurance and found a vet I like.
I think the positive review was written by someone at the clinic...
Horrible – I have a 2 year old chihuhua and he was diagnosed with an impacted glan. I got a quote from one vet and was trying to get quotes on how much it would cost to get the procedure done at a lower priced animal clinic. I was given some different animal hositals phone #'s and told that they were lower priced. I called Broadway Animal Hospital and asked about how much it would cost for the procedure. The man was very rude and told me that he had never heard of someone getting price quotes on procedures and told me to go back to the clinic that I had just come from. Then he hung up on me!!! I don't understand it, because I am looking for a better price on a procedure, does that make me a bad person?? I love my dog, and if I had to, I would pay the amount, but if I could get it at a lower price the same day from someone else, then why not??
Worried – I just dropped of my kitten for a right arm repair surgery today. I am worried because I have to leave her there all week. The vet never went over the procedure with me, I had to ask the front desk to go get her so I caould talk to her. Then when she came out the didnt not say anything that I did not already know, and didnt make any eye contact with me at all. I felt uncomfortable leaving my kitten there, but this hospital is the best I could afford. So I really hope that sparks is ok, and I am going to visit her everyday just to make sure she is getting the proper care. I will keep you posted.
There is only one way I can say it; they made my mom cry!!! – After contacting several vets in town, I was finally led to them. The last person I talked to, I'm sure was unaware of the way that these people treat their customers. On the phone, the girl seemed professional. I let her know that I was on a tight budget and that I would not be paid until Friday. This is Tuesday. She said "our visit is only $34.00". The room they put us in was filty!! There was urine on the windowsill that had been there for a while because it was dried and crystalized and the table was a mess. It's too bad the vet is as bad with animals as she is with people. The way that she handled my cat was rougher than I felt comfortable with. Before I knew it, he (Bigs) was getting shots without them discussing with us ahead of time what the treatment would be. The vet was brief of her directions and then left the room. My mom had a thought as to how much the bill was going to be. The next thing we knew, the bill was $150.00. Problem being, we were not prepared for $150.00; we were prepared for $34.00 and an estimate on the total cost. The shots were given without consulting us first. We had planned on treatment for Bigs, but wanted to find out what was going on with him first, and if there was a fix we could do until Friday when I got paid. Now hold on folks, we're getting to the best part. My mom stepped out and asked what the bill was going to be. When she found out it was $150.00, she said we did not have that kind of money tonight to pay for this, with them fully knowing that by the initial phone call. My mom then returned to the room and about 5 minutes later, the receptionist came in with our invoice stating "we got you down to $106.37. On top of insulting and disrepecting us, she (the receptionist) questioned our character and plans for treatment for the cat, as if we only wanted to know what he was going to die from!!! She (the receptionist) was extremely rude and my recommendation is if you are to visit this establishment, be prepared!
Sad – I don't have anything nice to say about this place, it is by far the worst vet in tucson, you would be better off taking your dog to the desert and letting it die because it will be cheaper and less painful then taking them to this vet who just lets them suffer. She is very rude and ignorant and she needs to be out of business, if she was a
real doctor (which I doubt never happened because of how stupid she is) she would have been out of practice by now because of all the lawsuits she would have, she is lucky she can't be sued becuase she has robbed us for so much and I cant wait until she is out of business and living on the streets and nobody helps her out. Please
read the reviews and be aware that this vet is terrible and will probably do more damage then help.
No Frills Care for Your Pets – Dr. Mueller cared for our large dog for most of his adult life, including boarding on several occasions, and a couple of injury cases involving sutures, etc. Our dog always enjoyed his visits, and once we found him hanging out with the staff- I guess he earned trustee status.
The costs were always reasonable, and I never got the impression that we were being offered unnecessary or substandard care. Another vet (on the corner of Stone & Limberlost?) tried to take us to the cleaners. In summary, we realize we have a choice in vets, and we choose Broadway Animal Hospital.
