great food and friendly employees whenever I take someone new here they ask why I have been hiding this place. The only down side that I can think of is that they go a little too heavy on celery as a vegitable

Good, Yes. The Best.....? – I'd been to Pearl Wok before, a couple years ago and frankly raved about it ever since. It was really good and stuck in my mind. Having visited recently, I have to say my opinion has slightly dimmed. Don't get me wrong, it's still good food...but is it better than any other place offering the same kind of cuisine and menu options? Eh. I found that there's a couple Chinese places down south in Littleton area that I would easily say are worlds above as far as flavor and quality. I have no real complaints with the food....it was okay, service was a bit slow but I can look past it since there was a fair amount of people there. My only qualm is that the Sesame Chicken there, is for my taste, a lot of sweet and almost no spice. I expect a bit of a bite and there was none. But that's just my personal opinion.

Go for the atmosphere, go because you want to go somewhere that's been open forever, but don't go expecting something that's worlds above most other Chinese places.

Delicious!!!!! – Outstanding chinese food! The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had at a chinese restaurant. We had Mongolian Beef, General Tso's Chicken and the Chicken Fried Rice. Loved all of it! Good prices and GREAT service! I will be going back--often.

The Best – This is seriously the best chinese food i've ever had. I've tried many dishes from the menu - they have all been good. But I usually go for the cashew chicken. Nothing has compared.

It is very much worth the drive from Highlands Ranch to Broomfield!

Best Lo Mein Ever! – I've been eating at Pearl Wok since the early 90's when my family moved to Broomfield. I just love their lo mein and have a hard time finding any that compares at other restaurants! My husband and I now live in Westminster, and continue to make trips to Broomfield just for their food! Their crab meat cheese fried wontons are to die for and the service is always wonderful! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Chinese Restaurant in their own backyard! :)

You Won't Find Any Chinese Better Than This...Period – I've been ordering from Pearl Wok for years now. I've eaten in the restaurant moer times than I can count and ordered delivery even more than that. I have never been disappointed in the quality of my food, the excellent customerservice of their staff, or the price. Fast, friendly, and some of the tastiest Chinese food I've ever had. Not to mention amazingly inexpensive. I've eaten Chinese food in San Francisco and Chicago at places that are considered 'top picks' nationally that were not this good and certainly not this cheap.

Worst. Chinese. Ever. – When I first order from a restaurant I've never eaten at before, I always order a staple that I would consider to be the most "impossible to get wrong." With Mexican, it's always a beef-and-bean burrito... with Chinese, it's always sesame chicken and Hunan beef.

At Pearl Wok, I ordered delivery and was pleasantly surprised with the speed in which the order arrived.. but that was the only thing that I was pleased about. My credit card was overcharged, and they threw in an extra order of egg rolls to balance the tab. (My card STILL has not been refunded.)

To make matters infinitely worse, the Hunan beef was not only overcooked.. it was BURNED TO A CRISP. Upon my first bite, the distinct taste of carbon flooded my palate. Upset, but hungry, I decided to take a bite of the sesame chicken. I'm amazed I still have teeth. It tasted like it had been sitting out all day and then, instead of preparing a fresh order, they decided to fry it again. When I bit down the outer layers of chicken (not just the outside) were as crunchy as a potato chip. Have you ever had crunchy meat? Until then, I thought that description was reserved for historical jerky and/or impossible to achieve.

I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident or common for the "best Chinese restaurant in all of Denver" (according to tripadvisor), but I would rather eat my shoes than order from here again.

Awesome Chinese – This is probably some of the best Chinese food that I've had. They are consistantly fast and friendly. I've never had a bad experience with them. We order delivery more than we eat in and we have never had to wait more than 20 minutes for our food to get to our house. The times we have eaten in, they have maintained the same fast and efficient service. We have become regulars of this restaurant. It's not even comparable to any other Chinese delivery facility in Broomfield.

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors – Since 1975, this family-style Chinese restaurant serves dishes like tomato beef, fried rice, cashew chicken and crab fried wontons.
