Hearty Homemade Italian – In my efforts to use my Entertainment book coupons, I talked my coworker into getting lunch at Papa Frank's. We used a buy one get one free entree coupon that took up to $14 off the bill.

The location and decor of the restaurant isn't upscale, but neither are the prices, even without a coupon. I did like the family photos of the owners near the register, kind of kitschy and cute.

I ordered the combination dinner with spaghetti and the meat and cheese lasagna. I chose the plain bread and ranch dressing for the salad with a pickled pepper that accompanied my meal.

My coworker ordered a 12" pizza with lots of toppings including meat, mushrooms and green peppers.

I enjoyed my entree, and I love getting homemade spaghetti wherever it's available. The lasagna had lots of ricotta, and I was happy to have a whole little carafe of extra tomato sauce, too. I did share this with my coworker who smothered his pizza and thought the crust was a little salty.

The pizza took about half an hour to make it to our table, but the waiter did warn us about that when we ordered. Overall the service was good and not overbearing.

We couldn't finish all the food and happily left with to go boxes!

Great Food, Great Service – Never have I had a bad experience or food at Papa Franks - homemade pasta and sauces - always great!

Go there for the food, not the service – Awesome homemade sausage, meatballs, sauce and noodles. The ambience and service are nothing to write home about, but they aren't terrible. Go there for the food and not the service. Prices are VERY reasonable.

Worst Restaurant exerience of my life! – After ordering a lasagna to split, our waitress put it in as ala carte instead of the meal. We repeatedly attempted to flag down our waitress to make sure she understood we wanted the meal since she had not asked us whether we wanted soup or salad, and we were ignored for a larger party sitting two tables down. You would think that one of your patrons waving at you would clue you in that maybe they want to talk to you. Or maybe she missed the loud excuse me as she hustled past our empty water glasses to refill water at her larger table. The food was mediocre and the service was horrid! At $15 (after tax) I would have expected a lot better quality. We look at it as a $5 off coupon since we did not feel obligated to tip.

I have been going to Papa Franks for Years now. Every Tuesday My Grandfather, my Father and I will all meet there for lunch. The servers all know who we are and get to know everyone new that comes in to eat. The Owner and his sister are two of the hardest working people I know. I love the food at Papa Franks and the people. I love that my food is made fresh and that it is all family recipes. They will make anything you ask for and do it with a smile. If you don't like something, all you have to do is say so in a NICE way and they will fix it.

Stay away – Living in Broomfield I had hoped this would be a nice local joint to get an honest speghetti dinner. For such a place, it is awful in every way and expensive to boot. Go on down the road to Superior and go to Vita Bella.

Papa Yuck's – I can't believe this place is still in business. I ordered a pizza here and I have to say that after 35 years of occaisional pizza eating, this had to be one of the worst excuses for pizza I have ever tasted. I have had better pizza from the freezer section at Safeway. Totally nasty.

Dine at your own risk.

Italy wants their food back – This horrible little gastronomic adventure began with flavorless garlic bread, tormented me with bland "where's-the-beef" meat sauce on top of pedestrian noodles (spaghetti and gnocchi), and finished off with pseudo-cheesecake. Prices were rather high for rather low quality food. I would have complained if we could have found our server. In short DON'T GO! ICKY-POO-NASTY! Jim, What do you think?

Well Dan...

I love food...and this aint it! The lasagna was horribly priced at $15.00 for 4"x 4" slab of dessicated flavorless crunchcake. In all fairness, the combo plate was accompanied by a heaping mound of homemade noodles. The problem is that the congealed meatsauce had no flavor, nor meat! But that dosent matter. The trucker/waitress might as well as said "shut up blueboy and shovel more of this 'homemade' slop into your pie hole!" In summation...DON'T FEED LEFTOVERS TO YOUR PETS! THEY LOVE YOU AND WANT THIER ALPO INSTEAD!

Rail road station type – The meat balls and sausages are good. The home made square spaghetti are good, but the sauce was terrible. Everthing was spicy, and nobody ask me if I like to have spicy food.
