DO NOT USE!!! Here's my experience with this company in a nut shell.. Used them for our wedding. We wanted to transport our entire wedding party by party bus from hotel to church then back. It was late July, and there was NO A/C!!! The driver just gave us a shrug and said that it was working, but it didn't work as well when we were stopped at stoplights.. Really?? In what universe does that make sense?? When he went to turn up the A/C, after we insisted, it blasted HOT air. He finally acknowledged that it wasn't working, but did nothing to help change this situation. Totally worthless. The sound system was a wreck too. No matter how low or high the sound system was set, the music rattled and was static. When we addressed this with the drive he simply shrugged and told us it must be broken. He could have cared less. We ended up just telling him to turn the thing off. We made the best of it, but were really disappointed by this company. This company is busted. There is NO excuse in sending a customer a broken product. It was such a happy day that we just let it roll off our backs. It just wasn't worth it to us to ruin our great day. I urge anyone looking for a party bus or limo company to book someone other than Sunset. Don't say I didn't warn you!
I had to call several times to get my limos booked they NEVER call back Neely would promise to email invoices receipts I'd have to call Darren gave me a quote but when I replied with my info didnt hear back had to call. I wish I had not mpaid my deposit and could have gone somewhere else. I just hope the driver is good and on time...The customer service is non existant and I would either retrain or hire a whole new front office. Ridiculous.
Do not book with them. They will leave you hanging!
My wedding was on 8/18/12. Let's just say they NEVER showed up or had the courtesy to call us! The bridal party did not have a ride to the reception because of Sunset Limo!!!!!
My sister booked the party bus as a gift and received confirmation from them THREE times that it was booked. My sister called them 30 minutes before the ceremony was over to see where they were at (as they should already be outside.) They indicated that there was NOTHING booked and hung up on her. She attempted to contact them several times after that and no help.
The following Tuesday comes along and my sister is dealing this his horrible company. Once again this company tells her that there's no confirmation. So she forwards them a confirmation from the manager indicating that everything was booked and requested for a manager to contact her back.
It is now 8/28/12 and yet she has yet to receive an email or a call from this establishment.
Sunset Limo should at least apologize for their stupidity.
Lots of gems here, but stick to the end to hear the real kicker (and why you should also avoid Sunset Limos).
First, the driver was late picking us up, but we're an understanding group so whatever. Second, the limo broke down two blocks from the pickup spot. Stuff happens, I guess, so we continued to be okay with it. However, it did take quite a while for them to get another party bus to us (about 45 minutes) while we stood on the side of the road.
But here's where it gets interesting. We drive to the venue for the evening (it was a strip club, it was a bachelor party, don't judge), and the driver tells us he's going to join us inside. Cool! We didn't see him inside, but I didn't think much of it. When it comes time to leave, we get outside and realize... hmmmm... no driver. In fact, no party bus either. We called and called and got voicemail after voicemail. Eventually, some other kind soul was nice enough to give the 15 of us a ride in his party bus (thankfully folks in Denver are nice) so we managed to get home. However, the drinks we brought on the party bus, the things that were left in it (bags, jackets, etc.) all went missing and have yet to be returned. In fact, when calling to complain and argue a refund, the company refused to work with us in any way.
So, in short, if you want to end up stranded (possibly multiple times), and want your stuff stolen and some pretty terrible customer service to follow, then Sunset Limos is right up your alley :)
Don't use this company! The A/C, radio, power, etc. did not work in the back of our limo, which made for a sweltering hot, miserable experience. When I tried to discuss my experience with the manager and owner, I got the complete run around. I filed a complaint with the BBB and discovered that they have had so many complaints that have not been resolved satisfactorily that they've lost their BBB ranking. This is a sketchy company!
Sunset Luxury Limousine has purposely ruined an innocent 16yr olds Birthday. It was her SWEET 16 and Sunset cancelled her reservation for the PINK HUMMER LIMO a week before her Birthday. Reservation was made on 01/23/12. They stated no â??Depositâ?? was reserved and I chose to â??Ignoreâ?? the emails and phone calls for a deposit. I have documentation with the OWNER and SUPERVISOR of the company along with email and phone records. I have filed a complaint with all of the accreditations they have listed on their emails/website. I will not go into details on here because I have several complaints in process but I would NEVER recommend you do business with this COMPANY. I was treated poorly, lied to, and my daughter is now left without the PINK HUMMER LIMO we reserved months ago. Words canâ??t express the pain this Company has caused. The disgust I feel as a consumer is overwhelming. They hurt an innocent girl to make an extra dollar. I will do everything in my power to stop this company from doing this to anyone else.
What a horrific experience. Never again. Sunset Limo did offer a gift card for future service, but I would not ever deal with this company again.
I have multiple grievances from my evening with sunset limo, notwithstanding the wrong limo (that is right, I am not even sure they have a pink limo, we and two other friends have tried to book this, only to NEVER have it show up).
Upon entering the limo we noticed that it had not been picked up from the previous party. There was trash and red silo cups full of red wine around in the cup holders. Come to find out, there was broken glass from the previous party (see below)
Poor Limo Upkeep / Sound Issues
Along that drive up to Westminster, it sounded like the whole back end up the limo was going to fall off. I have never been in a limo that had such a poor system of suspension. The girls that were sitting in the back ended up having to crunch in the front just so they were more comfortable.
When trying to hook up the ipod to the stereo, the sound system when turned onto the AUX station sounded so bad that we had to settle for the radio. The driver offered no assistance and suggested that this was the norm.
During the night we found out that there was a cable broke that wouldn't allow this limo to either stay in park or apply the parking break. I am still unclear on the specifics. While clearly a safety concern, it caused multiple occasions where we had to be strategic about where to park (e.g. not an incline and far away from the front of some bars and clubs).

On the ride back from picking up the carpet, I put my knee on the "dance floor" to move seats and cut up my knee on glass. Upon inspection, we noticed multiple pieces of broken glass on throughout the limo. We did not break any glasses. Upon talking with the driver, we were made aware of the fact that the previous party broke a glass. The glass was not adequately cleaned up, this is unacceptable.
Upon finding out that I was cut, and bleeding, the driver did not offer any assistance.
I would never use these jokers again.
DO NOT USE THIS LIMO SERVICE – I booked Sunset because they do a great job of advertising. But I will never make that mistake again.
My friend told be Sunset neglected to pick them up one year, although the reservation had been paid and confirmed multiple time.
My experience was not much better. The limo I reserved was the limo that showed up. The driver seemed confused on where we going, and there was no ice, let alone bar service. The limo smelled bad, the radio did not work, and it was late picking us up!
The best part is, they charged my credit card for the whole reservation, although I gave cash to the driver. AND THEY DO NO GIVE YOU A RECEIPT, unless you ask.
Sunset limo, is sketchy. Do not use them!
Dishonest and Deceitful – Extremely dishonest company. Experienced serious and unacceptable bait and switch with a side of thinly veiled lies and blame shifting. Ownership lies to customers are transparent and will catch up ownership/management in due course. Customer Beware with Sunset. Name suggests where the company is headed.
I challenge the previeous review – I challenge this idividuals credibility on this post. I can understand the persons fustration but if the Govenor of the State of Colorado issues a state of emergancy stating commercial vehicles need four wheel drive and chains a limo company will not put itself in harms way. The company admits it did not make it in the storm and offered another time at a discounted rate. The problem with saying the company did not refund the money is hard to prove. Your claim is to be challenge. Your telling others that you been dwelling on this for 2 years now. Seems like BS to me. And in 2 years I am sure the company may have gone through different managers or office staff. Point being your slandering someone and putting liable information just because you cant come to terms with yourself. Because your post was so unprofessional I chose to book my wedding through them. Your acusations drove me to see how much you say true or hype. I have been a loyal client to the Sunset Team and yes they have their short comings, as we all do. Were all humans. Between my positive attitude and the willingness to allow them to fix their mistake they have made it up to me on other occasions. Maybe this was simply something out of your price range and you are having buyers remorse.
