Beware of Plum Creeks Billing Methods – We had been using Plum Creek Medical for a few years now as our primary doctor. We thought is was nice having them right down the street from us. However, recently we have been billed for their urgent care services without even being told about it.

So here is how it runs down....you have a cold and want to go to the doctor. They keep one doctor available to run and bill their urgent care center. When you call to make that appointment they WILL NOT tell you if they are booking you into the urgent care doctor. You will only find out when you get a bill in the mail. Also, their doctors have the right to decide if your case is an urgent care case and charge you this fee after the matter, once again without telling you.

On top of that, when you make an appointment you might as well plan of a couple hours. Just because you have an appointment, don't plan on getting in for atleast 30-40 minutes. Once you finally get into a room they may or may not treat you quickly. The last time I was there they forgot to bring me medicine that the doctor ordered. I only got it because as we were walking out I had to track the doctor down and ask for it again.

The doctors are OK, the staff is horrible. We are now looking for a new primary care doctor for our family. Please reply if you know any good ones in Castle Rock.

Best Famiy Practice in Colorado! – Plum Creek Medical is wonderful!!! Their new Pediatrician Dr. Simon is the best doctor we have ever seen - He is so helpful and gives you plenty of information on keeping your children in the best of health. I would recommend him and all the other doctors at Plum Creek Medical to everyone!

Go somewhere else – Terrible. I waited for 60 minutes for the doctor to see me about a sore throat. Instead of helping me with my issue, he talked about a book I should read on natural remedies. I will never go back. I definitely would NOT recommend PCM.

Not the right place for me – I chose this place because it's close to home, but I'm considering driving somewhere else to seek future care. The office staff is not the friendliest people in the world. They make you feel like you are wasting their time by going there. I have been there many times, and I have never been seen on time. I also wait at least 45 minutes. Twice I had to wait over 1 1/2 hours , with a 2-year-old with me, just to see a P.A!

Don't waste your time – Are you kidding me? I can't believe that I am WASTING my time doing this. I only hope others see this. It seems that every time I went in to see the doctor it took for ever to be seen and then, when I had a concern to discuss, the doctor had no time to deal with it. I felt like I was just there so they could take my money.

I would go somewhere else if I were you. I dont feel like I was "cared" for, of course they cared about my money. GO SOMEWHERE else! You'll thank me.

they treat patients poorly – I am a generally healthy person and have been to this office about 4 times. I do not recommend this office. They are unorganized, impersonal, and don't keep appointments. I had a prolonged condition for which I needed to see a physician. The doctor was more than 45 minutes late on a couple occasions for the appointments and never offered an apology or explanation.

Furthermore, the doctor ordered tests and it took more than a week for them to read me the results. I called a few times and was either put on hold, or told to leave a message (which they never returned). Once, I even reached an exasperated nurse who sighed loudly and rudely snapped that she was just too busy to help me. In the meantime, I was left suffering and wondering what could be done to improve my quality of life.

If you need a check-up, this might be a place for you. Otherwise, choose a doctor's office that treats you like a person and not a nuisance!

Disorganized and disgraceful, horrible all-around service – I had been a patient with Plum Creek Medical for over 20 years. I went in six months ago to obtain copies of medical records. I had to have them in order to continue with classes at my college. All of my medical history prior to 2001 were lost! They had the audacity to suggest that I perhaps had never been a patient there before then. I was livid. I spoke to my mother and they had lost hers twice during her patient history. Thank goodness they found them her old records, but it was always years later. I later spoke with a woman in billing there. As I went to pay my bill, I mentioned my lost records. She said they were probably deliberately destroyed when I turned 18, as it was their policy. Who destroys medical records when a person turns 18? I'm still considering reporting them to the AMA for that.

Plum Creek doesn't have their stories straight & I wouldn't expect anything more from their care. The doctors are too busy for personal care. A friend of mine made an appointment with her doctor. When she arrived, the doctor told her she was very busy & couldn't do more than write her prescription today, but that she wanted to see her in four weeks. My friend was upset that she had just spent the 10-dollar co-pay for such a visit. The doctor had even written the prescription wrong. As she left she saw her doctor, sitting down, eating in an office. She was not happy that the doctor absolutely did not have time for her & her questions because ultimately she was more concerned about her lunch getting cold. She is currently looking at other clinics.

I could go on and on about such instances related to this facility. Most of the good doctors have left over the years. I simply see it as a disorganized, disgraceful establishment. If you value your health, and want a more in-depth diagnosis than "it's a sinus infection," go elsewhere. After switching to another clinic, I realize what proper medical care is supposed to be, and Plum Creek Medical is not the place to get it.

Beware! – I will never return to Plum Creek Medical. The staff is anything but urgent in returning calls, especially with test results. As a result, I had a long and extended sickness, with horrible side effects, that could have been avoided, if the proper care would have been taken on my first visit. After talking to the patient care rep, who is a relative of the doctor, my large bill was only reduced 14 dollars. I can't wait for the new urgent care to open in Castle Rock. Please beware. I've had a horrible expeirence, and will warn anyone I know not to go there. I'm not a whiner, and this is my first post, because I felt so strongly.

Best Medical Clinic in Colorado – Plum Creek Medical has an amazing staff and Dr. Jack England treats my whole family. I would recommend them to any incoming family to the Denver, Castle Rock and any other surrounding area. We commute from Centennial and I wouldn't have it any other way. Plum Creek Medical is by far the best medical facility in Co.
