Amazing! – My husband and I both enjoy fine dining which can get pretty expensive. We were in town for a conference and found Yia Yia's through a google search. Man am I glad I did! It was an all around awesome dining experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, from the valet to the waiter and everyone in between. Not to mention the food! It was absolutely mouth watering, If you are planning to visit Yia Yia's you absolutely MUST try the Gnocchi appetizer, it is to die for! The entire meal was delicious and the prices were awesome, especially for us who live in a ski resort and would have easily paid double at a local restaurant for the same meal. Thank you to the staff at Yia Yia's Denver for an awesome night :)

There's A Lot To Say About Always Being Consistent! – I have lived and worked in DTC for over 10 years and have been to Yia Yia's at least a couple of times every month for those 10 years. Our company has lunches there or I meet friends there for lunch. Our family enjoys dinners there from just the 2 of us to a huge group. And when we have guests in from out of town - they know that's where we're going. We've celebrated special family events there or sometimes just stop in for 'tini's and to split an entree at the bar. Everytime - consistent - period. That is high praise. Even though there are lots of good restaurants in Denver, there is something to be said about always knowing your favorite one is a) still in business, b) still has great service and c) won't ever disppoint with food or wine. Having said all of that... we actually made it to their Sunday brunch for the first time this last weekend. Wow! Crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, oysters, and mussles - oh my! Plus all the usuals; lox and bagels, omelets, salads, benedicts, and desserts whipped up by Yia Yia's very creative dessert chef. Do not leave without having the bread pudding.

Business diners and locals come to this Mediterranean eatery near the DTC for its tasty lunches and charming ambiance. – In Short
The restaurant's arching stone entrance is matched inside by large stone pillars and wrought-iron chandeliers. Diners come especially to sit in the patio area that overlooks ponds and has a view of the mountains. Lunches are packed with Tech Center employees noshing on salads and sandwiches. Locals come in at night for dishes such as risotto with lobster, oak-roasted chicken and salmon. The wine list features by-the-glass options poured at the table.

We had a party of six for dinner on a Friday night. The food was fabulous. The waiter was even better--we couldn't have asked for better customer service. He gave recommendations for both food and drink and he remembered all of our names throughout the evening. We were also pleasantly surprised when one of us commented that we had thought the salad we ordered came with an extra ingredient (which was actually an ingredient on one of the other salads on the menu)--the waiter actually brought out a little side bowl of that extra ingredient without us asking him to. Talk about great customer service!

Yes Yes to Yia Yia's – I shouldn't like a chain restaurant in the 'burbs as much as I like this one, but I do. The staff here outshines just about every other restaurant in Denver. The food is very good. And, I can't say enough about Yia Yia's happy hour specials -- totally awesome. But, I hate to advertise it too much, as I'd like to continue to get a seat in the bar when I go! I wrote off this place years ago, but, after trying it again recently, find myself coming back with friends time and time again. Oddly enough, I don't even live or work in the DTC area. In my opinion, Yia Yia's is one of Denver's best-kept secrets.

Best Brunch Around! – Don't eat for at least 24 hours before going to the Sunday Brunch because you are going to want to try a little of everything. They have an AMAZING spread from Breakfast to Lunch to everyone's favorite - dessert!

typical "Hick" town – Upper management and the front of the house staff need some definite hospitality trainning. Too many excuses what they can't do for their guests, and very unaccomodating for smaller parties that don't want the private room.

While Oetting may be a James Beard winner, you'd never know it from the food. Both lunch and dinner lacked simple salt and pepper.

A carb risotto with a tomato nage was screaming for flavour, and unfortunately the crab tasted more of the can than the shellfish it came from.

Top pastry toque Kim Heideman is out on maternity leave, lets hope she gets back soon.

A great place for a stellar dessert, but not my first pick for a luncheon or dinner.

Power of Lunch – Yia Yia's must have the top chef working lunches rather than dinners, due to the DTC location. Dinner is forgettable and pricey. Lunch is memorable, delectable, creative, fun (and pricey). This is a great place to bring people to celebrate or impress. Food is creative, service is excellent every time, atmosphere is elegant and glamorous. Booths are comfortable, quiet and private.
