Had a GREAT Experience at this dealer!

I purchased a used car here in July 2013. Being in sales myself, I was very upfront and willed about what I wanted the price of the car to be and what I needed included in the deal. DEREK BROWN was my salesperson and he provided me with terrific customer service. He gave me ample time to make my decision and took me on quite a few different test drives. When I finally selected the car I wanted to purchase, I had a few minor things I wanted fixed. He gave me a terrific price and also agreed to fixing the problems. Unfortunately, due to no fault of the dealer the car broke down a couple weeks after I purchased it. I thought for sure I would be stuck with the issue and the repair bill but Phil Long came to the rescue, and Derek coupled with the Service Manager DWAYNE CALLAWAY took care of all of my issues and at no charge. Dwayne went over and above my needs in the car repair, giving me his cell phone number to contact him and personally handling the fixing of my vehicle..

These two are an amazing team and Phil Long is lucky to have them. I can honestly say that I cannot remember the last time I have received this level of customer service in any industry, let alone in USED CAR SALES!!

I would highly recommend this dealer for standing beside their product, easily fixing issues when they arise, working with honesty and integrity and most improtantly employing tow incredible people!! In a time were rude and inconsistent customer service has become the norm, this was more than a breath of fresh air. Ask for DEREK BROWN in sales or DWAYNE CALLAWAY in Service, I gurantee you will not be dissapointed.

NEVER go here to buy a car! WORST experience EVER! – NEVER EVER go to Phil Long Ford if you need to buy a car! Worst experience EVER!

Terms changed twice, they lied about what the bank required for the terms of the contract. We turned in our other car and 2 weeks later called us saying they in fact couldn't do what they promised and instead of $500 now needed $1000 down. Then made us feel bad they were "losing money on the deal and the manager needed to sign off on it." Problem with this is the new terms they made us sign on Nov 1st didn't change the price AT ALL!

No money was being lost they just were being emotionally manipulative.

Even the bank Capital One confirmed they didn't require $1000 down so the whole story was a lie. The problem is we turned in our car after signing the paperwork so we were forced into a really bad deal we would have walked away from. They also apparently changed the contract dates because Capital One called me yesterday letting me know our 1st payment is due on the 21st!! So the deleted the STANDARD 45 day grace period to make our 1st payment after already giving them $1000 down.
