Amazing Care!. I have been a patient at Aspen Family Care for 12 years. It amazes me that anyone has ever had anything but a positive experience there. I find that every time I go in for an appointment, the stafff is friendlier and nicer each time. But even beyone the friendliness of the staff, is the competency of the providers and the bedside manners of all of them. It's like I'm visiting family every time I'm there! The providers are thorough, honest and you can tell they practice "good medicine". I just found out at my last visit that they even offer laser services! How awesome to be able to go to your family doctor, someone you trust, and have your laser hair removal at the same time! Love Aspen Family Care!

Great Doctors and PA's. I changed doctors 2 years ago from a doctor that would always overbook and had a waiting room with 4 chairs, which left you sitting in the hallway for over an hour before putting you in a room to wait another hour. Aspen Family Care is a complete departure from my previous PC. To the contrary of my fellow reviewers, I have had nothing but postive experiences with the front office staff to the Doctors and PA's. They can get you in quickly with extended evening hours and saturday mornings. The only thing I don't like is that they have a policy that they will not phone in a prescription for you. If they would change that they may be the best family practice around!

Great care, despite cost controls. I've been going to Aspen Care for nearly 10 years. The doctors there are always personable and thoughtful, and spend enough time with you to come up with a good diagnosis, unlike many doctors. They have tried to control costs by hiring several PAs (Physician's Assistant), but the PAs have been better than any I've met anywhere else. They have reasonable hours and get me in fast when I am sick or need to make an appointment for a prescription refill follow-up. I'm sorry that one user had a bad experience with immunizations, but I have 3 kids and have never had problems (although it sounds like that is because I have good insurance).

Good Physicians, less than stellar business office. We have been going here for years and would happily recommend the physicians (especially Matt Claussen and Jill Pechacek) to anyone. Although they are often seem overwhelmed with a rather large patient load, their wait times are not any worse than other practices in the area. Their business office is not quite as good of an offering. Rude, if not outright abusive are words that come to mind and that might explain earlier reviews, especially when one attempts to resolve issues with the business manager. I know the office staff has mostly been in place for many years and I suspect there is a tendency by the physicians to be reluctant to address any complaints against them in order to not have to deal with the problems of hiring new staff, which leaves the patients no recourse except to leave if they are unhappy. With the shortage of family practice physicians accepting a wide array of insurance coverage?s in this area, that pretty much means the loss of patients does not impact them very much.

If a doctor doesn't immunize because they don't make enough money, what else don't they do?. We took our 15-year-old to this clinic because she didn't want to go to a pediatrician any longer. We called the office and told them all she needed was immunizations for high school. They told us no problem and made the appointment. When we got there the doctor told us that they no longer gave immunizations because our insurance company does not reimburse them enough for the shot. She said we could go to the local pharmacy and get the shot. Why did they not tell us this to begin with? There are disclosure laws for medical care in the State of Colorado. They charged us $275 on top of a co-pay to tell us we had to go somewhere else for the services we needed. What had it been an emergency? Would they have wasted our time in the waiting room and clinic room to tell us our insurance does not pay them enough? Where are the morals of this doctor's office?
