Admission is really cheap, and it's worth it to go here at least once. If what's happening in the cathedral isn't your style, you're sure to find your thing on another level. Really talented DJ's here.

For any one that wants to check out the church and see all it offers but doesn't want to pay out the nose just to look, when you go the the door ask them about the down stairs price. It's only $5 if you say your going down stairs but you can go where ever you want in the club. This only works on Fridays as far as I know and it $5 for everyone on Sundays and free before 10. If you want a consistently busy night with verity go on Friday. There are three dance floors each featuring a different style of music Techno, Hip hop, and Goth Industrial. For the best drinks go to Doug or Suz. Doug is in the cigar lounge on Fridays and Suz is at the small bar in the back room down stairs. Their mixed drinks are strong and their shots are practicaly doubled and they can make anything as long as they have the ingredents. if your feeling adventurous ask them to make you something new just give them a type of alcohol. I promise you won't be disappointed. Just remember I'm telling you how to get in cheep so tip you bar tender, whom ever they might be, well.

Now this is a Night Club!! It puts the clubs to shame down in El Paso, Texas to shame.

Staff is friendly and reminds you of Cheers, where they know your name and know what your poision is.

The Church is a Great Looking Venue – The best things about the Church Nightclub: The venue itself, Though a lesser copy of Limelite in New York, this is stilla great big club with a strong sound sytem and good lighting system. The multi rooms full of different music is a definite plus. I also like that they moved the main dancefloor's DJ booth from way up high where you couldn't see anything, to the dancefloor level itself. The Con to that, When I went to see Diplo perform, people nearly tore his laptop down and both his laptop and his phone kept moving around because of the Bass.

The booth is better where it is but needs some improvements. One it needs a bar or a glass barrier to keep dumb asses away from the DJ and the equipment and two it needs an edge/lip around the entire shelf on both sides to keep the DJs drinks, phone and anything else they put on it from falling down due to the bass rumble.

The main floor DJs are usually major acts brought in from around the world and generally do a good job. Diplo was dope, except for his ultra weak Chiga Chiga scratch, shouldn't a big name DJ like that learn at least a few things about scratching? But I digress, cause his music was dope and he rocked the crowd far outweighing his shortcomings with the technical aspects of turntablism.

The Church would be my favorite spot if it wasn't for the ultra lame DJs that were bumbling their way through songs and pre fabricated mashups downstairs in the main downstairs room. I'm not sure who these two were on the CDJ's but they were a sorry lot that in my opinion should not be Deejaying anywhere other than house parties. and maybe not even that. The only thing that saved these two clowns was the fact that the downstairs was filled with mostly teenagers that perhaps still didn't have enough experience watching better DJs to realize just how badly these two DJs sucked, and the room also had some break dancers and pretty girls to distract people from this fact as well.

The other room downstairs had a set of skilled DJs to make up for the lack of skills in the other room.

Of course this was on one particular night so don't judge the club by this One comment.

What eats me up about the church is their intolerance of high quality cameras. I mean if I spent extra money to pick up a high quality digital SLR camera and I'm bringing it with me to the club does that not indicate that I fist of all have money, second of all might be in an industry that would like to help publicize your club, perhaps a magazine, a blog, a website etc... lets face it others can bring in their smaller cameras, which these days are capable of taking pictures almost as detailed as those of my own camera only with a lesser battery capacity and a slower picture taking rate.

I was there one night check out DJ Jazzy Jeff, but they wouldn't let me in with the camera so rather than pay the hefty $25 that night decided to go to another spot. I was disapointed to not see Jazzy that night but rather see him another time in another city if need be, if I am not going to get pictures I need from the event.

I'm there to publicize their club and write about their night and they are giving me a hard time at the door about bringing in my camera. Not smart, not smart at all. I can understand wanting to control what pictures are posted of your club, so every picture looks like a packed event etc... But you can't control it all, too many camera phones, mini cameras etc... So you might as well let the people that are going to take good pictures and post them online into the club. Any free publicity you can get should be welcomed.

In any case overall the Church is a great club, but they need to re-evaluate some of their weaker DJs and find better resident DJs. The DJs downstairs in the windowed section of the downstairs main room just were not very entertaining, could barely mix and did not posses even One ounce of creativity. Do some research and find better DJs.

Was not totally impressed – I was there a few weeks ago on vacation visiting my girlfriend. Im from Jersey and have been living in NY for sometime, and have been in the scene for about 5 years, including being a street teamer of NYCs Revolver, as well as having been a patron of NYC's best weekly industrial party, Asylum Guild, since its beginning. Being friends of the guys who started AG and Revolver, and learning to DJ myself, Ive learned a thing or two.

The venue itself is truly impressive, spacious dance floors and nice smoking lounge, but I can see and heard how sound can get muddled due to its size. The bars were certainly pleasing, drinks cheap early in the night, in addition to getting in free before 10, is definately a plus. Quality is also good, its the only club Ive frequented where I can get Patron tequila, the size shot I was given was definately impressive as well.

The only negative I found was the music itself. The djs are quite skilled but what they were playing, for the most part, wasnt that great. A good number of "H I T" songs, stuff that Ive come to not enjoy so much due to hearing it WAY overplayed in other clubs back here. Its a nice place to go, but really cant hold up to my experiences here on the East Coast, maye when I move there permanently I'll be able to inject some NYC flavor into the scene out there.

Goth Night – it was a great haven at one time for under agers to go party like rock stars. but now we get nothing not even an explanation as to why we cant go there anymore. the only upside to the Sunday night goth night is the two bartenders Stephanie and Doug. i hope one day the owners realize we under agers were taking over that night and were giving them the most money for entrance fee's and drinks. the music used to be really cool but has not been as cool recently this past year its been more slow songs and stuff and not a mix of dancy songs with slow songs.

Better for the stories than for the experience! – How cool is it to party in a church!?!?! Sounds like such a great concept, but honestly, it's so BIG inside that even when filled with a decent crowd, the club winds up feeling rather empty. Music was ok, not the greatest. Barteners are attentive though, so that's a plus. And the wait is not too long (which is especially important during Denver winters!) Overall, I'd say it's definitely worth a visit..but I probably wont be a regular.

This is where you will be Fri. Nights – This is where the people who know how to dance, dance. Friday night the main floor plays pumping dance music. The main dance floor is nice and long and hard wood. You get an incredible view of the main dance floor from the balcony. The architecture of being inside a church, the big dance floor, and the lighting on the dance floor. Now whats also cool about this club is the Great Outdoors. You can go on the roof.

One of the Best – A church fitted for a night out. Well done. The decor is wonderful and they do try to accommodate all desires. The basement club needs work but has a great Industrial/EBM night. Lines to the bar are long. The place is expensive so know to expect that.
