Great Preschool and Daycare – Both of my children have attended Golden Triangle from the Infant Room through preschool and we've only had positive experiences. While I certainly sympathize with some of the angry reviewers and their motivations, I do not agree with their assessment of the programs and teachers. Any childcare facility or school will have upsides and downsides, but GTLC has given my kids a safe, comfortable, loving environment in which they've grown and thrived. The staff has always been open and supporting and they've made many wonderful improvements in curriculum and in the facility in the 6 years that we've been involved with them. Bottom line: we know them and trust them. I would recommend GTLC without hesitation and would suggest that a parent interested in the center should take any review with a major grain of salt and pay the center a visit to see it for themselves.

I would recommend this daycare without hesitation – We have been very happy with this daycare, from infant room through the preschool room, and our daughter loves it. I have especially enjoyed the current preschool teacher Ms. Pat. She is very loving with the children and had lots of fun activities for them each day.

I was at first surprised when I came across the angry postings below, but then I noticed a pattern... they came from parents who were angry that their children were acting up. I guess it is no wonder they are looking for someone else to blame for their kids’ bad behavior. My daughter has been going here for almost 4 years, and has not had any such problems. Being a normal kid, she has of course had her moments. In such situations, she was given a time-out (pretty normal way to handle it in my opinion, and the same approach we use at home). We have never been called for any behavior issues; they simply let you know what kind of a day your child had (usually good and sometimes the not so good moments) when you pick them up. I can only imagine how out of hand it would need to be for a call to be made. With that in mind, I can only be glad that the parents of those kids acting up (and to the degree that the parents got a call) pulled their children out. Luckily, that means the rest of the kids can enjoy the fun, loving and exploratory environment the center and the teachers here provide.

Would Recommend looking elsewhere – Although I dont Completely agree with angrymom2009 my experience was very much the same. I put my two kids there there when I worked in denver. I thought they were perfect until my son moved to the Pre-K class and started coming home with marks from other kids and stories of being put in the babies room when he was misbehaving. He started acting out and becoming very violent towards me and my other children, as well as children at school. He says he was being refered to as a problem and a bad kid by teachers at the school and said they would threaten to call the police and have him taken away. Now I understand he is a little boy and I always take what he says with a grain of salt but WOW! I also noticed a few times a young girl was the one answering the door at night (they are locked and you must ring a bell to get inside) which alarmed me. I do agree with angrymom that they are not taught skills needed to start elementarty, however, I do not expect any daycare to teach my child as though they are an actual school. I voiced my concerns with the center and pulled both of them out. I wasnt willing to have his behaviour continue to spiral out of control. I am sure that they would have attempted to work on the issues I was having with them, which is why I gave them 2 stars, but I am glad in the end I pulled him. He now attends a really great after school program and is thriving. Yes, this school was a disappointment but like all things you live and you learn. I learned to spend more time in a center before leaving my child there and to make random drop in visits to see what really goes on in my childrens day. -OH! Just a side note...My daughter also attended the school she was a 6mths at the time and was well taken care of as far as i could tell. The only issue I ever had was one of the girls asked that I not hold her as much because she is "too needy of a baby". Weird but understandable I guess. Anyway hope this helps and good luck!

Have really liked Golden Triange – I was prompted to write this after reading the review from Angry Mom. My child has attended Golden Triangle for 3 years now - since she was 4 months old. I have NEVER heard her use words like, "axe, mines, yous" nor have I ever been called and told my child was acting up or put in the baby room. They have an open door policy for all parents and I have never witnessed anything like that. To the contrary, they are loving and willing to listen to concerns. They follow a schedule each day and let you know how your child is doing. They are not entirely educationally based, but they teach the basics for you to work on more at home or simply let your child have fun and play. I will continue to have my child in school there and will send another baby there without hesitation.

WORST PLACE EVER!! – THIS "LEARNING CENTER" IS A SHAM! I HAVE A CHILD WHO WILL SOON BE GOING INTO KINDERGARTEN. THY DO NOT HAVE ANY STRUCTURE. ALL THE TEACHERS ARE UNEDUCATED AND WILL ONLY TEACH YOUR CHILD TO SAY THING LIKE "YOUS, MINES AND AXE"... AS IN "I HAVE TO AXE YOU A QUESTION SO ARE YOUS LISTENING TO ME? THAT TOY IS MINES" THE TEACHER HE HAD DIDNT FEEL LIKE DOING LETTERS OR NUMBERS SO SHE JUST DIDNT. HE ALSO HAD 4 TEACHERS IN LESS THEN A YEAR. WHEN MY CHILD ACTED UP THEY PUT HIM IN THE BABY ROOM AND THEN WONDERED WHY HE CONTINUED TO ACT UP. AS FAR AS THE FAMILY RUN ASPECT, WELL THEY HAVE A 12 YEAR OLD WHO IS THERE ALL THE TIME AND DISCIPLINES THE CHILDREN. ITS WRONG!! I ALSO HAD AN ISSUE WITH THEM CALLING ME EVERYTIME MY CHILD ACTED UP WITH HE NORMALLY DID BECAUSE HE WAS BEING HARRASSED BY OTHER CHILDREN WHOS PARENTS WORKED THERE. HE WAS THERE WAY TO LONG. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!

It went from second to first in our books – After looking at several (too many) day care facilities, we narrowed our choice to two. GTLC was initially second. However, after a closer look, we love it. It is very clean! Close knit. Parent run. Our child loves it there. Great value for all the care and support he gets.
