Reviews for Byers Evans House

One of Denver's oldest houses, an impressive red brick mansion built in 1883. – In Short
Currently owned by the Colorado Historical Society, the residence has been lovingly restored to its World War I grandeur. Also on the premises is the Denver History Museum (formerly the Carriage House) featuring Ann Evans' collection of Southwest art and interactive video displays with touch screens on area history. Together, the two facilities convey a good sense of what everyday life was like for Denver's early pioneers, especially for the movers and shakers.
