Overpriced for poor quality – I was disappointed when Motherhood Maternity moved out of Cherry Creek to be replaced by this store. Motherhood may not be the best quality but I'm ok with spending $25 for a shirt I'll only wear for 6 months. Pea in the Pod is outrageously overpriced. Thin t-shirts for $95. A suit that made me look like a clown for $250. The fabrics, drape, stitching and everything about these clothes (label says "from a fabric made in China") is cheap but terribly overpriced. I didn't find one thing I liked and for a price I was willing to pay. And if you weren't a tall skinny girl before you were pregnant, you won't find a thing to fit you here. To top it all off, staff is rude, unknowledgeable and unhelpful.
This long-time favorite chain for pregnant fashionistas keeps getting better and better. – In Short
Whether it's a leather miniskirt, sweater coat, fishnet hose or Lilly Pulitzer pants, Pea in the Pod has a maternity version-- no more need for pregnant women to skip fashion trends. Labels include hip designers like Marc Jacobs, Three Dot Ts and joomi joolz jeans.
