Pete's has been a family owned and operated restaurant since 1962. They serve Breakfast Lunch and dinner and have seven locations in the Portland area.
Average joint. – Anyone who still thinks Gyro is authentic Greek food is a fool. Gyro is about as authentic as a taco is to Mexico or pizza is to Italy. It just isn't anymore. The Greek Salad is alright. Average place. Opah!
All my favorite Greek dishes! And great prime rib. – I love this restaurant. I come from NJ and know Greek diners. I had to go into NY to get food like this! It's a little funky, needs new seats, but the Greek salad is to die for. Their prime rib is really good when they have it. Great traditional food. The prices aren't cheap, but has good sized servings. There are a lot of neighborhood characters who are patrons. Fun atmosphere, with alcohol, newspapers and parking! No rush either. Opah!
This Colfax eatery is a solid choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner, especially for the culinary treasures of Greece. – In Short
Original counter seating and vinyl booths as well as an enclosed patio and Aegean accents are featured in the decor of this Greek restaurant. Breakfast is served anytime, blending cuisines with choices like eggs and souvlaki, the gyro-and-eggs platter or one of the house Mexi-breakfasts. Lunch and dinner visitors usually opt for one of the many Greek options, including mousaka and lemon-and-oregano baked chicken and spinach pie. Steaks, burgers and salads flesh out the menu.
Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner – With all of the shoddy service in Denver - you can always count on Pete's for consistently good food, prompt service and no waiting. Everything I have eaten there is great. Should not be missed if you are looking for a quick, inexpensive good meal.
DISAPPOINTING DINER EXPERIENCE – Coming from the state of the diner--NJ, we were excited to find this eatery. However, after waiting 45 minutes for a simple order, and a waitstaff that was obviously overstretched, we are not returning....to bad, or we would definitely have been regular customers!!
Best Greek I've Had – I love Greek food and I've been to most of the Greek restaurants in and around Denver. The food here is the best of them all, though the decor is not. Try the dolmades!
