Quality Service – Cucina Colore has been a restaraunt of choice for my family and I throughout the years; the service, the food, and the ambience are outstounding. It is a restaraunt that caters to every age (with the exception of very small children), and it has many loyal diners. I am one who is very familiar with good food and service, and I strongly believe that Cucina exceeds in these two areas. I would strongly reccomend this restaraunt to anyone who wants to enjoy a superb meal in an intimate setting. Make sure you try the bread pudding, it is amazing!

Hip decor, good food – Located in the upscale Cherry Creek shopping district, its look is dark & trendy but with a little bit of a warm glow - after all it's Italian-esque cuisine. I arrived ~5:30pm, so seating was easy and patrons were mostly families, but as the evening advanced the clientele evolved to couples, girls night out, and other hipsters starting the evening. The pasta I ordered was tasty & filling; the capellini special with gulf shrimp - but you know how it goes with shrimp, restaurants could always be more generous and I only got 4-5 shrimp. The light sauce was composed of capers, onions sauteed in tomato sauce. I think if I were to go again, I'd try a main entree, either the sage chicken or grilled pork chop, they with their sides sounded heartier. Though I did want a lighter meal that evening - they had run out of gelato which would have been a nice way to end the light pasta - oh well. Overall my experience was pleasant, and I can understand how this place could become a standby for locals. It does seem pricey for what you get. The place is a 2-5 min walk to the upscale mall, where you can easily catch a taxi cab (go towards Saks 5th Ave entrance).

A casual, cool Italian joint in Cherry Creek that won't break the bank. – In Short
Large mirrors and windows lend a spacious feel. Dine on the sidewalk patio when the weather is good or curl up in a booth and wait to be served. Every dish, from the shrimp and arugula salad to seafood pasta packed with scallops and vegetables, tastes fresh and filling. Ravioli fans will love the chef's specials, while meat lovers will also find plenty to satisfy their cravings. Specialty pizzas can serve as appetizers or entrees.

Good food, but pricey and slow – We've been here five times in 5 weeks. Everything has been consistent, from the good food, the pricey tab, and slow but friendly and competent service. For example, for three people: three drinks, two salads, and three entrees, was $95 before tip. Wine list has quite good wine, but very limited in number, and same with the daily menu. This has it's pluses (easier to figure out what you want), and minuses (not as much variety if you don't find the exact right thing).

Needs a Kick in the Pants!!! – The negative reviews are right on. Slow service from beginning to end. Stale bread, luke warm entrees and a server that spent too much time conversing with her tables. Cucina used to be one of our favorites. We were extremely dissapointed and with so many choices in Denver they have lost us. As one restaurant reviewer would say: "Cucina Needs a Kick in the Pants"

What a great experience – I've eaten Italian all over the country, (I'm from Brooklyn)...I've had the best three Italian meals and exemplary service (our server recommended a Brunello that was incredible) -at Cucina Colore that I've ever had. I've been so impressed, I decided to drop a line here, I whole heartedly recommend the Pollo/Orzo salad, the pork chop (or the New York strip), the pasta dish with scallops and shrimp, and the peach bread pudding. My wife and I travel to Denver often, and this is by far the best Italian in Denver, or the mountains, (there are other places...I've tried them), just go to Cucina Colore- it's certainly the best Denver has to offer.

62 cent Target Pasta – In reviewing this place I would highly recommend the diner to leave as soon as they arrive, go to target and buy themselves a packet of 62 cent pasta and cook at home. This is a good as it gets in this place. The drinks are watered down enough that you should bring some cologne to quench your thirst, since this is the type of client that should be dining in this place. Preparing rigatoni should not involve waiting to 2hrs for a refill, or the waiter to come back and serve you. The atmosphere is an embellishment of a soup kitchen gone modern. Please, to charge $20.00 per person for a pasta meal and not receive a waiter or service is not the way to go.

great door – The hostesses are extremely friendly, especially the brunette with curly hair. Good place to go with some friends or on a date, also good desert place. I enjoyed eating in the cocktail area more than the restaurant, the service seems to be better and people more relaxed. Definately, order the peach bread pudding, it's their specialty.

great food – Great experience in a great space. Pasta was cooked perfectly, and interesting cuts. Try the Fedelini and the Peach bread pudding -"TDF"

I'll be back

Magnifique – Coming from NYC, I didn't expect to find decent eats in Denver. Cucina Colore is great and cheap. I've been in town for 11 days and eaten here 8 nights. Good stuff.
