Expensive, Faulty Work, Shoddy & Rude Service – UPDATE: A very pleasant surprise, I have been contacted by the Director of Watch Repairs who has offered an apology and asked to talk to find a resolution. That's a very welcome response.

My elderly mother took in her Omega and a Waterford clock to have batteries replaced. The Omega is an expensive watch so it makes sense that it was $70 to replace the battery. However, they charged $30 to replace the battery in the Waterford. Worst of all both batteries were dead within a week of picking them up. They were so rude to her that she isn't willing to have them correct the issue. 1) Expensive, 2) Faulty Work 3) Bad behaviour.

Selection can't be matched. Tell them you are keeping your $$ in Denver but you want a deal! – It's heaven! Just strolling through the store gives you a nice feeling. Hyde is the only place in Denver with such a magnificent selection. When you shop for something as intimate as jewelry or a special watch, the internet is too risky. I'm 6 months into recovery from an internet diamond purchase gone wrong. Last weekend I walked into Hyde and asked for the manager. I said I'm keeping my money in Denver, we're in a recession and so what will you do for me? After all it is all about me! I was treated like a queen....got an amazing deal on my dream watch and stimulated the economy. It's a win-win. And I didn't have to wait for the damn thing to be delivered. It was my special treat for my 50th birthday.

Thank you Hyde Park....Denver we have to support our locally owned companies. I sincerely feel like there was no down-side to the transaction.

Another tip. If you get a salesperson you don't feel comfortable with. Just ask for the manager. Seriously. You need to be able to connect in order to get your price and feel good about the experience.

Great Customer Service – Recently we celebrated my husbands birthday and I decided I wanted to get him a nice watch to wear to work everyday. I decided to purchase the watch online, because I found one I loved and new my husband would too! After purchasing the watch I thought of what a hassle and added cost it was going to be to have the watch resized. When my husbands birthday had come and gone we needed to get the watch resized but didn't have any perticular place in mind. Already being in the cherry creak mall area we decided to stop in at Hyde Park and have the watch resized. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who began the process of resizing the watch. While we were waiting another staff member cleaned, polished, and checked for loose stones on my wedding ring. I thought this was a great idea while we waited and was happy to get both done at the same time. Then it comes time to ring up the charges and what happens.....it was all FREE. Yes I said FREE, they resized the watch and gave my wedding ring a newfound sparkle all for free. We didn't even purchase the watch or the ring in their store, but needless to say next time I do need to purchase jewelry of any kind it will most definitely be from Hyde Park!! I would reccommend them to anyone two thumbs up in my book
