Update....Corvette connections motor they built me in my street driven 2002 Z06 lasted for about 3000 miles before it began to come apart. Tore the motor down... Paid over $13000 for a forged motor, they used a stock oil pump, stock timing chain, cylinder bores were 3 different sizes which was the main cause of the knocking noises. (piston slap). Also the the rod bearings were already going out. I have no idea how these f$%^ers are still in business.
The only real Corvette shop in Denver – I was curious about the work done at Corvette Connection & decided to stop by & take a look during Dyno Day (which is free). I saw the power these guys deal with & was very impressed! The staff there are knowledgeable & very friendly! I asked a lot of questions & they took a lot of time & answered my questions thoroughly. I will definitely be taking my Corvette there!
Corvette Connection is located in a very convenient location near I-25 & I-70.
A True One Stop Shop! – It's amazing how many Corvette owners are happy with the services and customization. I wish more people would visit Corvette Connection and see what they can do!
worst shop in colorado – I took my 76 stingray in for a simple front fascia installed and for a complete paint ,he estimated the car and said he could match my paint with no problems and that his painters were top notch pro's
I was told 3 to 4 weeks 6 at the most for completion, after waiting a month I called and no work had started yet, then I get a phone call from Rich the owner to come see my car that there where cracks in all 4 of my fenders, which were not there when i drop off my vette ,then I find out he's been calling Hagerty's for more insurance money,I supplied a new custom rear bumper to be installed w/hardware ....they call me again to see the car and they installed the rear bumper lop sided and said it would not fit..2 more months go by and still no word on my car, when I told rich i was tired of waiting and was coming to come get my car and take it some where else -I get no reply and i recon i pissed old rich off because he trashed my vette -paint in interior/dents that where not there when i dropped it off -Air in my brake lines ,Hood won't open ,T-tops don't fit any more -gashes in brand new front end doors loosened up but not removed -red paint in my interior -missing all running board screws ,my dash board trim screws missing and windshield wipers no longer function -carpet torn on drivers floor and the rear deck-he took an orbital sander to the drivers door about six times and went right over my chrome door handles and key holes ,he did not remove any trim everything was poorly tape and one shot of paint w/no pearl the way it was and he must have clear coated outside with the wind blowing at 30-40 mph because if you feel the paint its like sand paper -I now refer to it as my blue orange peel. I phoned rich and asked if his painters would like another shot at properly painting my car and his reply was nope you got what your getting ...laughs and hangs up on me! Not only did he put my life in danger by letting air in to my brake system but totally trashed my vette out of spite because i was not going to use him for a race package ie.motor and suspension ....I warn every one not to use his shop for any type of work he's nothing but a crook ,and I do have the paperwork for the complete brake overhaul noting mileage. They were perfect,
Also rich went on to say I got the goose that laid the golden egg because my insurance check was more than enough to do my car right then he rushed to deposit it and promised to install a custom steering wheel .he said sure no problem and my telescoping wheel will not work and he did not even install the new wheel, plus i asked if he could put timing light to it and check to see if its dialed in again no problem he says, but when i finally get to pick up my car he tells me we don't work on carbs here just fuel injection motors.
I trusted rich because he had worked on one of my vettes back in 1998 while my car was at his small shop it was broke into and my t-top were stolen and he stuck it to his insurance company and replaced them with glass ones which are much more costly then my metal ones, but it seems since he started his 1/4 mile fever its got the best of him ...for he only wants to see how deep your pockets are also be careful because his has a really bad case of short mans disease.
