Consistently Awesome.. My co-workers and I have been coming here for 4 years, at least once a week sometimes more. It's that good! I have yet to order everything on the menu, but I'm trying. It's not "glitz and glam" but that's not why we're there. Just solid, great, filling food!

Great, no frills Mexican – always yummy, always quick - not a fancy place but a good neighborhood place just the same

Delicious authentic food – I live very close to this wonderful little gem, and I am hooked. I usually get a chimichanga and a margarita or two. The salsa has just the right amount of heat and tastes very fresh... I recommend it to anyone looking for something affordable, quick, and tasty...

One of Denver's great Mexican dives- – This is a wonderful little restaurant that we've been going to for ten years, ever since Jose, Sr. was out front. They specially made 100 tamales for our wedding rehearsal dinner, and Jose Jr. now does a great job running the place. The service is workmanlike, but that's part of its charm. The green chile is really phenomenal, especially the green chile plate on a winter evening or when you need to kick the last vestiges of a cold. Ask for the 2-taco plate, desebrada-- it's my all-time favorite. And watch the salsa, it can vary in heat day by day. Sure, you can get snappier service at another joint, and easier parking at a bigger place, but for me, when I want fast, good, cheap Mexican food and a margarita, (and who doesn't?) this is the place I go. As a bonus, they don't even laugh at my silly attempts at Spanish.

Best Chile Rellenos – I had heard that this restaurant had great Mexican food - I had driven past the cute little building many times when shopping at the Safeway across the street.

I've been there numerous times now.

I am now completely addicted to their Chile Rellenos and green chile. There are not words to describe how delicious this is. And the prices are completely reasonable.

The service is great, everyone is very friendly - has a family run atmosphere.

I highly recommend this restaurant

Worst Mexican food ever tasted. – By far, this was the worst dinning experience had in a long time. When we arrived my boyfriend opened the menu and there was salsa dripped wet on the pages. The salsa bowl had dried salsa on the edges and the chips were not home made and were stale. I ordered the green chile and it tasted like canned soup. it had too much black pepper and the meat was tough and tasteless. The waiter seemed depressed and did not greet us with any enthusiasm or a smile.

The restroom had a cracked toilet seat.

There are plenty of similar priced mexican restaurants around town which are far better in quality and taste.

What motivated us to try this place out were the reviews and the 4.5 star rating. We were very disappointed and will not return.

Definitely a hidden jewel – Ever since I first tried this little place on the corner of Clarkson and Park Ave a few months ago, I've quicly come to love it. It's got a quaint atmosphere and serves up great mexican. Everything I've tried, from the Chips & Salsa, to the Chimichanga has been a delight. The staff is alwasy friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

This tiny mom-and-pop serves some of the tastiest, most authentic Mexican food in town. – In Short
Locals from the surrounding San Rafael and Uptown neighborhoods come for dinner, joined at lunch by area hospital staffers and construction crews. A patio shouldering Park Avenue West offers views of the downtown skyline and the developing neighborhood. The kitchen serves tamales, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, tacos and more. The green chili is deep with layers of flavor and hints of heat. Mexican beers and margaritas flesh out the menu.
