great prime rib special – Go on a night when they have their prime rib special. Their green chili is also good, and I like to get it on my mashed potatoes with the prime rib dinner. Now that all bars are non-smoking, this is a great place to hang out. The old "non-smoking" room is no longer empty and lonely looking.
Good customer service, great food, and good beer. – This is a wonderful place to hang out for a game. The food is good, and the beer is better. Once you walk in you get the feeling you are not in the states any more.
Great place with great beer. – Apart from being dark at any time of day, this pub is warm and friendly. Food is almost always good, service is great and the patio is perfect for Happy Hours in the warmer months.
"America's first true sports bar" gleams with rustic British revelry. – In Short
Modeled after the famed London pub, this place is wood-paneled, darkly lit and homey, with a long brass rail from the London site. Allegedly, the pub was the first establishment to have satellite dishes for sports programming, earning the distinction "America's first" sports bar. The fish-and-chips are exceptional: lightly breaded halibut served with a pale-ale tartar sauce. Or there's the signature burger, a half-pound of charcoal-grilled beef topped with thick-cut bacon and tangy jalapeno cheese.
Out of the way, but very worth it. – This place is just great. Everything about it except the location. It is still worth the trip.
Good Pub Fare - No Bull – Great Prime Rib! They have bar specials every night for meals. Good appetizers, too.
Their beer is also very good. Many flavors to choose from. Excellent selection of Scotches to choose from.
This is one of my favorite pubs.
one of my favorites – this is one of my favorite bars in denver. i used to live right across the street, and i went there at least twice a week. i love to go for brunch on saturday and sunday mornings/afternoons. $3 mimosas and bloodies and really good food. the beer is great, their food is great, and it's just a really friendly place to be in.
The Best of the Best....... – The Bull and Bush is Denver's best bar. There is something so unique about it.
Memories of the Past – I do believe ratings are as always in the eye of the beholder, however having lived in Denver a number of years, and a Bronco season ticket holder, the game really started there.i had the pleasure of playing Golf with the owner brothers, and I found out who they were, and decided to go visit after about 20 years. One Friday night my wife and I went there and it was like being transported back in time.Nothing had changed.Still crowded, still the same good food and still the same great service. It was a wonderful evening and since then the wife and I had moved to Phoenix,Az and now this month are moving back to Denver, near the Bull & Bush,
I hope! Rich Loffredo
Worth the Trip to Cherry Creek – I've been to about 120 brewpubs across the US and Canada. Bull and Bush is rated in my top 5%. As a sports fan, I enjoyed all the televisions showing different events. I thought the atmosphere was cozy and conducive to group and family outings (although you would never think this being in Cherry Creek). The beer was bold and inspiring, not watered down. My friend and I split the nachos which seemed fine (my rating is mostly on quality of beer and atmosphere).
