What a pleasure it was working with Ken Dey from Mike's Camera! He assisted me in putting together a project that I thought would be hair pulling and instead it was as easy as ripping off a band-aid.

Ken talked through options and offered some great suggestions all of which were helpful in the decision making process. I did not feel rushed at all and greatly appreciated the personal attention given to each and every questions I had. I will definitely be using Mike's Camera in the future and will most likely call ahead to see if Ken will be there as he has become my go-to-guy!

Went in to look at some Canon gear last weekend. Brian answered my questions and was helpful. No problem getting help or having questions answered. I also went in and had a photo printed on canvas. The staff was very helpful and made some very good suggestions on how to print it up. Another great local business with good customer service.

Mike's Camera is an absolute pleasure to walk into every single time I have visited their stores. With fast, friendly and knowledgeable service, it's no wonder Mike's Camera is Denver's favorite. Their knowledge of each of the camera models I have been considering was vast and they helped me understand reasons as to why I should choose one model over the others given my level of experience. I have also used their bulk scanning, framing, and video transfer services. Their services are fast and reliable and have helped me reclaim an enormous amount of space while de-cluttering my storage. I also like the fact that they are a locally owned and operated business and prefer using their services to help keep Denver strong!

There are very few camera shops in Denver metro it seems. There are always the big box pushers like Best Buy and the like and the ever declining Wolf Cameras around. I have shopped them all seeking information on what camera to purchase and why.

Spending time at these other shops, not only was confusing but they really had little to no clue what they were talking about. Then, I walked into Mikes on colo blvd. I had previously been to the one at park meadows, and they know what they are talking about but the warmth and comfort that I experienced at the denver store far outweighed its southern counterpart. I came in and met with Matthew, who was gracious and informative. I am not the easiest customer to deal with, especially since I ask a lot of questions that can be a challenge to guide. I was amazed at the fact that not only did he know the gear reasonably well, but was actually able to guide me to something that not only fit my needs, but allowed me to grow with photography.

For all of you price shoppers convinced that saving a few bucks is better than heartfelt service and assistance, you really should give Mikes a chance. Matthew was great and I am now and forever a Mikes Camera customer.

Caveat emptor: Beware of Mike's Camera – Beware: this company does not stand behind the products it sells.

Case-in-point: my client, an elder artist-lady, bought a $800 Epson 3000 there. Although the machine was setup correctly, the machine did not function as advertised.

Mike's salesperson/technician came by charged her $70 cash and told her he could not fix it.

I've been the lady-artist's computer technician for 10 years. I could not make the machine work. I called the store manager, who researched the situation and then told the artist-lady that "she" had to call Epson and make warrantee arrangements.

I called Epson for her, went through the phases that were necessary to convince them to replace the machine - a courtesy which Mike's Camera should have performed for her.

This elderly lady has spent nearly $5K at Mikes
