I have gone to Cindy for years. The negative comments on here are pathetic. If you want to criticize her service that is one thing, other than that move on and if you do criticize her service, tell HER she will make it right. You know the old saying, you can't fix it if you don't know it's broke. She is great at what she does, I know, I have been to several laser places. I Appreciate Cindy!
Best money I ever spent – My husband got worried when I told him how much it would cost to laser my leg hair. I have medium-fair skin and really tough, black hair on my legs. I could shave twice a day in the summer.
Cindy was realistic -- you need dark hair and lighter skin for it to work best and it would likely work in 6 treatments (It took 6 plus a touchup later). Also, it was pretty painful, but that's how I knew the treatment was working. I'm not bald on my legs, but the little hairs are so light and fine that the only way you'd notice is if you were looking at them at the right angle in the sun.
Less than a year later, I don't have to shave and my husband and I both agree it's the best chunk of money I've ever spent. Now I can pull on a pair of shorts and go at a moment's notice. Why did I wait so long?
Best Laser Hair Removal! – I bought a groupon for my underarms and went back for my legs. I love Cindy and her staff. I work alot and they are always accommodating. Plus I hardly had to shave at all after my 2nd treatment! They are the least expensive place in town (do your research). Would recommend anyone to A New Image!
Agree with previous reviews about bad customer service – I agree with the previous posters about Cindy and her staff always complaining about their business and about other professionals in the city. It is totally unprofessional to speak ill about others in your profession to your clients as you giving them their treatment. They did groupon and made it very clear they only did it so they could tack on more charges, etc. when you are done with your services. I had laser hair removal and had over the amount that is normally needed and I still have hair! I'm thinking that the machines are turned down so they don't remove all the hair so you will come back and pay for the extra services.
My appointments were cancelled or moved numerous times because Cindy could't make it in the office. This after making the appointments weeks in advance.
If you do groupon, that's great but you need to have the right attitude about it and customers don't want to hear complaints about money, customers, other doctors, etc.
Her "professional" husband bashes her clients – I was taking my child to Academy Allergies to see her husband. I guess they share office space. All he did was complain about how bad the customers were from Groupon and how cheap they were. The moms who showed up to appointments with kids were also talked badly about. Guess they were eating too much candy and being loud. None the less, gossip about customers should not be passed on to other customers!
Horrific customer service – I am baffled by the good reviews here. At my first appointment for hair removal, I thought the owner was just having a bad day. She complained the entire time about money, customers and not getting tips but she seemed thorough, so I ignored the attitude. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. At each subsequent appointment Cindy grew more unpleasant and stingy. At each visit she reduces the amount of hair she zaps and focuses on different areas each time. I can only assume she thinks if she is sneaky enough there will be enough hair left at the end of six sessions that she can collect more money for additional treatments. Cindy also convinced me to pay extra for an area every other laser clinic said would not work because the hair is too light. She said she had the best laser in town and it would work. Guess what? It didn’t work. More time and money down the drain for nothing. Also, it is not unusual to wait 30 minutes to get in so don't schedule an appointment on a day that you have a tight schedule.
It's all good – I am having the laser treatment to tighten my facial skin. I feel very comfortable with Cindy Goodman at New Image and with the procedure she is doing for me. I am excited to experience the final results as I am half way through my treatments. I highly recommend that you go in and meet Cindy to see what she might be able to do for you. LJ
Bad business – This business is a rip off. They use false advertisement to get you in. When you call then they tell you one thing and when you get there is another. For the price that i pay there to get 2 area done i was able to do my entire body and still save some money. Look around. Also she uses the old machine that is painful and not as good as the new one.
Great results – I started going last year to get laser hair removal done on my neck area. After 6 treatments I couldn't be happier and have decided to have my upper lip done as well. I've had laser done elsewhere here in the Springs but never with such great results.
If you don't mind Owner (laser tech) telling you her life story, the laser treatment is good – The laser technician was great in her treatment but she talks too much about her personal life. She is a sweet person then I found out she was the owner. If you don't mind hearing about her life story then she is probably the best in town for laser hair removal. She did seem a bit lost when it came time to pay. That can turn a person off and it comes across as unprofessional but as far as laser goes she is good.
