Tips for Cottonwood Hot Springs
This is a great spa. I didn't spend the night there because we didn't know we could.
We stayed for two nights in the Lodge. The rooms are not fancy but they have a fridge and a microwave. There's a kitchenette available in the main part of the lodge if you want to make a snack or breakfast. The rates are reasonable and the place is clean. We will visit again.
What a pleasant surprise! I loved it
here, and will return. It is not for everyone, if you need all the bells and whistles forget about it, but if you want to relax and get totally away ..and get real, this is the place to go..no TV GREAT!!.. if you need to recollect yourself, do yourself a favor and go to this place..PEACEFUL.. the springs are magical, healing and the presiding spirit can be felt.
The surrounding hills and mountains are great.
The only suggestion I would make is to build a restaurant on site, on that serves health food only would really fit.
We go to Cottonwood Hot Springs every
year, and we love it every time. It is a retreat from the tension and stress of real life into a world of self-indulgence and relaxation. We spend all of our time there in the bed, in the private hot spring pool adjoining the cabin, and on the massage tables, each of which is a separate slice of heaven.
If you do feel the need to be active, or even just upright, the location is perfect for white water rafting or any other mountain-based recreation.
I have stayed at Cottonwood twice now and found both times to be extremely pleasant and relaxing. My second stay being the very best I have ever had, I just left Cottonwood two days ago and upon my departure this gentleman that I believe his name was Steve from housekeeping loaded all of my personal luggage and belongings into my vehicle and as well gave me instructions on the driving conditions back to Colorado Springs, now this is the old fashioned customer service that his world lacks nowadays, I am a very wealthy woman and could travel anywhere in this world which I have done, but if I was to invest my time again on vacation time I would definitely go back to Cottonwood, from the women at the front desk clear to housekeeping there is a warmth and very special feeling of love and care that seems to go through Cottonwood and warms your heart while staying here. A special thanks to the gentleman (Steve) from housekeeping for loading my car for me and for the valuable driving directions and conditions on going back home, I took the route he advised and come to find out it was to my benefit to go the way he said instead of going over the pass I usually take, the roads were treacherous and there was major accident that would have had me sitting in my car for hours no doubt, being an elderly woman that would have not been good for my health, so thank you Cottonwood for the honor and pleasure of being a guest at your beautiful resort.

The pools here are clean. They are cool to very hot. We live in NYC (hubby from CO) & look forward to getting here & soaking.
I have been here 3 times now. When ever I come up to Denver I actually take a back route so I can visit the Hot Springs. The staff is always friendly. They are knowledgable of the area and are always available with answers. Lilly did a massage and Brooke was as nice as can be. The little gift shop always has something I can give as a gift. and in the main room..they got the coolest stuff..singing bowls, piano, lounge area
Perfect - Clean, quiet and relaxing!! I have been coming once every month to six weeks for quite a while - years. I live in Manitou so it is only 90 minutes away. I love that I can come here and meditate and totally relax in the pools. I really appreciate the quiet communing with nature and the lack of interruptions. I enjoy children at other venues, but appreciate the emphasis placed on quiet reflection at Cottonwood. I understand that families want to be together and have a wonderful time, but I am so glad that Cottonwood Hot Springs encourages quiet respect for all. The facilities are clean, the staff is so "real" and courteous and pleasant. I like that it is affordable, clean, and totally surrounded by nature. I am always so at peace and centered when I leave Cottonwood. Thank you, staff, for all your hard work and efforts.
This is a great place to be and is very relaxing!!!! Great massage therapists on staff also. Rooms and creekside Cabins!!!!!! I love to come here and soak in the hot springs!!
