My girlfriend bought me a remote starter and installation from Best Buy for my birthday. I took my car in and was told the installation would take 4-5 hours but after 45 minutes they told me they didn't have any employees who knew how to install on a standard transmission, mind you my girlfriend told them it was for a standard. I went to Extreme Audio and was informed that the starter they sold me did not work on standard transmissions. I returned the starter to Best Buy and had Extreme Audio install a starter meant for standards. All in all it was 15 dollars cheaper but I felt much more confident in their competence and they had my car done in less than 2 hours. This was approximately 2 months ago and I have not had any issues. I strongly recommend Extreme Audio.

Good Service, BUT.. – They did a Good job fixing my audio issues, but drained my cars battery, and blew a fuse in my heater system in the dead of winter, i went two days without heat and no concern from them. also my my car battery and heater was in perfect condition prior to service. MAKE sure they do a Vehicle inspection prior to service if you choose them. If not they will blame you if they scew up.

Treats the customer like a king – First and foremost the mobile audio business is a service-oriented business. It doesn't really matter what products they sell or even their prices. What separates the wheat from the chaff is service. And when I receive great service I have to shout about it. I'm hear to shout about ExtremeAudio in Manchester. I called these guys on a whim because I got stuck in a bind and they went out of their way to bail me out. They quoted me a price which they later realized was too low yet they KEPT THEIR WORD and didn't charge me anything additional. The work they did was top notch. Everything looks and, most importantly, sounds fantastic. But the best part about this shop is the owner, Rob. He is knowledgeable, over-the-top friendly and MOST IMPORTANT he puts the customer first! In fact, when they finished my project there were a couple of buttons misprogrammed in the steering wheel controls. They immediately brought my car back in the shop and remedied the problem (with a smile). I understand that mobile audio isn't always an exact science. It's complicated and sometimes things just don't go as planned. What matters is service - dedication to the customer. And that's what I've discovered at ExtremeAudio of Manchester.

Summer Tunes! AWESOME JOB!! – I have an older sports car with factory equipment that was no longer working for me even though I don't drive the car much, I wanted better sound when i do drive it. The owner, Rob actually listened to what i wanted and made suggestions that I never would of thought, to maximize the sound performance within my budget. I had a C.D. player, four speakers and amplifier installed. They also fixed a broken compartment while installing the AMP which i appreciate after years of trying to fix myself. I've driven the car more than ever this summer thanks to my new sound system! I would recommend if your looking to upgrade your sound or anything car electronic related, Rob will take the time to LISTEN and come up with a solution that fits a budget. The demo area displaying my options was the nicest and cleanest I saw while shopping around.

Caution !! They will TAKE UR MONEY – Purchased and had a system installed in my 300M in Sept 2009. spent over $2k for large system, extra battery, custom box and new radio. Wow had it working for 3 days then boom. They told me I had to send my amp to get repaired after having it for 3 days. fast forward 2 months of calling every week about it. Finally they gave me another amp after the original amp became "misplaced".

After that continously had issues with vehicle over the next 3 months. After spending $2k and have issue after issue I brought it to another shop in Vernon (ACT Audio). They looked the system over and said it was installed mostly correctly, not very professionally but correctly except for Battery isolater. I had the repair the install and beautify the installation and went back to extreme to find out about compensation for the poorly done job and to complain to the owner. Found out the sales guy was the owner, told me my warranties were void because I had someone else touch the system and that they (ACT Audio) didn't know what they were doing. I just left, empty handed, and never had any issues after the other guys fixed it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! WARNING!!

I called consumer protection and they knew about these guys, Plenty of complaints.....

Amazing Service!! – I had to work until 6:30 and the owner, Rob offered to stay open a half hour late just so I could get the item that I needed. He also looked up my make and model of car online to make sure I was purchasing the right parts. He also gave me a full description of how to install the item myself. I will be going to Extreme Audio & Performance for all of my car audio needs from now on and I recommend them to EVERYONE. :)

Etreme Audio and Performance – I highly recommend Extreme Audio and Performance. Not only are they pleasant and professional but very accomodating. My car was stolen and the stereo area " gutted out," but this was not a problem for them. Unlike other shops I have been to they told me they " would work something out." Now after a year with no sound I am able to jam to my favorite cd's on my way to work. Thanx guys you have made me a very happy customer. Kristina Pleines, Manchester, CT

Buyer beware – I went there a year ago and had a Remote starter installed with a "lifetime warranty". After 14 mo it stopped working, and I went back for my Warranty service and was advised the warranty was only a year. They looked at my starter and told me it was bad and tehy could install another one. At that point I said forget it and brought it to another shop (best buy, in manchester) to have a new one installed. This new shop stated they would tshoot my starter first and I agreed. After about 20 minutes they had my old starter up and running. Not to mention when i had the original one installed my install that i was told would be 120 dollars cost 195 dollars after the job was done!
