Do Not Hire Skyline Fence LLC in CT – I should of known better than to hire someone who can't even pay their own bills. I bought a shed from Skyline a few years ago so when I was looking for a fence I thought why not. But it was very odd to see that they don't sell Sheds any longer and now operate out of their home in Burlington. I asked Scott why and he stated he had a falling out with his former partner in Plainville. Well now I know from others in the shed industry. Scott of Skyline wouldn't pay the manufacturer of the shed he purchased from PA. He owes alot of money. As far as fence work its only been 4 months and its starting to fall apart already. I also found all of the leftover pieces and trash from the fence install hidden in my backyard bushes. Scott you are a terrible person and even worse business man.
Terrible Company - Stay Clear – Terrible Company - Dishonest --Stay Clear. Scott and Adriana, the owners, took our down payment, then continually broke appointments to install the fence - at times not showing up without the courtesy of a phone call. Have now run off with our deposit and won't return calls or eMails. Currently trying all legal means to get our deposit back. The only truly dishonest contractor I have encountered after many years of home improvement/repair projects. Watch out, they know how to play the game.
Poor Customer Service – This business offers a good quality shed for a good price. When we first investigated purchasing a shed through Skyline Fence, we were impressed with the product, and the person we dealt with seemed knowledgeable and nice. We were told twice that our shed would arrive in 3 weeks. It was actually 7 weeks, with no explanation about the delay. I doubt we would have received notice at all if I had not called several times. When the shed was finally delivered, I was told to be home for the time of delivery. When they brought the shed, they dropped it off and did not check to see if it was in the correct location or if I was satisfied. I looked out and saw that it had been delivered, and it was not in the correct location. When I called to report the problem, I was told that I should have told the delivery guys, the same ones who hadn't bothered to notify me of their arrival, and that they were too busy to come fix the problem. The person I spoke to said the owner would have to get back to us. What ensued was a long process in which we attempted to get the business to fix their mistake. In one incident, we were treated very rudely. Finally, they promised to come fix it 6 days after the initial delivery. The day before, we called to find out when they would come -- no answer. Next day -- no one showed or called, and we had to call several times to find out why. Finally, after several more calls, they agreed to come the following day. Even though I was again home, waiting for them, they showed up and moved the shed, again, without consulting with me or letting me know they were here! They still didn't get it right, but apparently the customer's satisfaction doesn't mean much to this business. Final evaluation: buy a shed here if you aren't in any rush and you don't care about endless headaches if there's a problem.
