Worst service ever- NEVER buy a car from this guy. He sold me a lemon, and when I found out what was wrong, laughed about it. Problems include: dead O2 sensor, Dead ABS sensor, and a computer that is throwing error messages for engine and transmission. I was told, the car will never pass emissions, and that the check engine light had been on for so long the bulb blew out?. And when brought to his attention all he can say is "The state can't do anything to me? You paid under 3 grand? don't let this poor excuse of a human screw you like he did me... This was the "trusted mechanic" yet.
I had my car serviced at All Star Automotive and was impressed not only by the courteous professional treatment but also that I didn t need an appointment. The owner, Joe, drove me home while they worked on my car and picked me up when it was ready. I had several estimates before I ended up going to All Star and they were the most reasonably priced for the quality work I had done. If you' re looking for honesty, reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere..............I suggest you see Joe at All Star Automotive.
I am giving this jerk 1 star, and that is more then he deserves.
I went Joe, back in 2011 asking about buying a car. Joe routinely sells cars off his lot. He told me he had the perfect car for me, a 98 SAAB. He told me that the car was in perfect working order.
What a lie.
I took the car to another repair center and was told the car needed to go home and have a 4 sale sign put on it. The strut mounts were all rotted. I was further told there was no way they could have rotted in the time I had had the car. The ball joint was bad, the tires were useless, and the engine had an extreme case of blow by.
RememberJoes stated the car was in perfect working order.
I took a look at car fax.
The car had a total of 3 owners. I being # 3, it is pretty easy to guess Joe was #2. Owner #2 put 35,000 miles on this car in 21 months. Also keep in mind that Joe also states he parked the car for over 6 months. Looks like hard driving to me.
He used and abused the car, and sold me the leftover. He was "the trusted mechanic" one takes when one buys a new car. I am medically disabled and now waiting for the car to die. I had hoped for at least a couple of years.
When confronted Joe was bragging how he got away with it, being a used car sold for under 3000.00 and the state would do nothing to him.
Joe screwed me over, and he knew it. He took advantage of a situation and left me, in short, in dire straights. Do yourself a favor, if you happen to be driving on the Silas Deane and see all star automotive-KEEP DRIVING!
