Penmar Management has made owning rental property fun and easy. In my divorce settlement, I got the triplex overlooking the harbor in San Pedro. Ralph, my "X" had always dealt with the tenants, made the repairs, and paid the bills. There was no way I was going to deal with all that frustration. Fortunately for me, Shane, my pool guy, recommended Penmar Management to take care of all of that. Shane does pools at a lot of apartment buildings in the South Bay and says that the Penmar ones are always the best managed.
Shane really has a good head on his shoulders and I trust him a lot. So, to make a long story short, I hired Penmar Management and it has been great. They have been able to cut by costs while improving the quality and satisfaction of the tenants. With their fantastic marketing of vacancies, rental income has improved, and I am never bothered with tenant problems like Ralph was.
Penmar Management has been a rock solid property manager for me now for three years. Both tenants they have put in my home have been the best tenants we ever had.
I tried several management companies before, but I still wasn't satisfied. By the end of six months with Penmar Management, they had completely addressed every one of my complaints that I had with the other companies. Penmar Management is clearly the best I have come across and they are by far the less expensive because all you pay is a flat monthly fee without being nickeled and dimed on extra charges.
If Penmar Would Not Manage it I Wouldn't Own it – For the last 15 years, Penmar Management has been caring for every rental residential property I own. Since they have such depths of experiences in the property management field, they know how to conduct themselves so that problems are avoided rather than having to work to minimize problems after they occur. That is why I would not consider even looking at an investment property until after the real estate agent runs it by Penmar Management first.
I am so confident in Penmar Management – My husband and I had worked with 2 other managers before. Then we were introduced to Penmar Management by a friend who could not stop raving about how good they were. After meeting at Penmar's office and discussing the many responsibilities of managing and how Penmar trained their people, we were both convinced that Penmar was the property manager we were looking for.
My husband passed away 10 years ago and I can honestly say how thankful I am for Penmar Management who looks out for my interests while they manage my property.
Why I Like Penmar Management – Penmar chooses and trains competent resident managers. Penmar shops to get competitive prices for maintenance. Their statements are timely, informative, and complete. Knowing that I had a good property manager even induced me to buy another property.
As I reside in a state different from the location of my properties, it is especially important to have a property manager in whom I have complete confidence. I would have no hesitation in recommending Penmar Management.
A courteous company doing the job right – I am a 75 year old widow who has used Penmar Management to manage all of my properties for over 25 years. In fact, I would not buy a property unless Penmar approved of it. My rents always come in on time, they keep the places well cared for, and all money is accounted for to the penny. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a management company who truly takes the worry out of owing apartments.
I Like Their Rent Guarantee – If my tenants fail to pay their rent, Penmar does out of their own pocket. Not only do they respond quickly to any questions, they send me a newsletter every Thursday updating me on what is going on.
After using them for 8 years, I thought it was time I let others know.
STAY AWAY !! They will make your life miserable ! – Stay away from these people. I made the biggest mistake in my life by renting from these people They think they can still steal from anyone and getaway with it ! !
I saw a couple of good reviews here but I can guarantee you that they posted it themselves.. Cause there is no way anyone would write a good review about them.
From the beginning to the end, they will rip off every penny from you. Starting with the 50 dollars fee just to check out their place. When you move in, they will tell you that they will fix everything that is broken. Not only that they wont fix them, when you move out, they will charge you for everything. I returned my place just the way i moved in, but still they didn't give my deposit back. Even after giving a 30 day notice, they charged me 100s more than they should.
Stay away from these thieves !!
This tenant broke her lease two months early, and to be fair to the owner, we had to charge her for the loss the owner suffered from her doing so. PENMAR MANAGEMENT
What to tell...Don't even try this company. – Please Don't trust this guys. They ripped me off badly. I had a vacant unit, which I had given to Permar to fix it and market it and rent it. They successully ripped me spending good amount of money for doing a lousy job in fixing up the place. Were not able to rent it for a months. I took over the place back from them and able to get applicants and rent it out. Tried this company for 4 months and would say waste of money and time. Ripped me off badly. I wish I would have read the reviews before I choose them.
