Reviews for Ikea

Great for Some Things – Go for the shelving and the items that aren't that breakable. I have lamps and clocks and desks that all fell apart within 2 to 5 years. But you get what you pay for.

Low prices and sleek, modern design draw shoppers to this interior decorating superstore. – In Short
Hopen, Malm, Aneboda-no, those are not suggestions to name your pet, but the Swedish names of IKEA's designer furnishings and decorative odds and ends. Created with a "one-way" layout in mind, shoppers weave through a labyrinth of seemingly endless showrooms stocked with equipment to creatively accessorize every room under the sun. With patrons ranging from groups of freshmen students looking to outfit their tiny dorms to entire families, the store offers a huge repertory of styles, patterns and colors for every unique taste. And speaking of tastes, the small restaurant just beyond the cashiers serves up traditional Swedish fare for those who worked up an appetite.

Of all the Ikeas... – The Carson store is the most pleasant experience.

Right off the 405

Plenty of parking

Always a nice breeze

Between Torrance & Long Beach, LA & Orange County.

On the same lot as Jamba Juice, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Target, a gym

405, 110, 91 fwy all come together in Carson

Odd layout – I've never understood the overpriced, cheap-feeling furnishings at Ikea. I just don't feel their quality is anything worth coming here for. Sure, a lamp here or there might be okay, but for major furniture like a computer desk, I'd rather go to an office supplies outlet. Their layout is truly strange--almost bizantine in its structure, like a lift maze for a marble. You take an escalator up to the top and work your way down, with no obvious exits along the way, forcing you to go through their entire selection before being able to leave. I'd rather go to a smaller specialty shop. $50 delivery fee.
