Red Suace Central – Georgetown equivalent of Red Sauce Central. Theme restaurant, 'Today we have a very nice everything'...This supposed famous Italian was full of 20 year olds on first dates, and with mum and dad dropping off at College. Mushroom ravioli was, hunt the ravioli through a soupy cream sauce. Attentive staff thought that because it must still be 1970 and if you drape a napkin over your forearm it must be classy. Bono's favorite dish was a mound of overcooked pasta and red sauce with huge hunks of sweet sausage. Decor was semi brothel and semi 1890's funhouse. If you want to be a tourist and pay for old fashioned food and service this is your place.

Great Italian Food – This Georgetown eatery has a great atmosphere and decor in typical Italian house style. When you walk in, you can see Italian grandmas making gnocchi by hand! The food is delicious and plentiful. It is a little pricey. If you are visiting Georgetown, it is definitely worth it to go there. You'll have a wonderful experience and taste great food.
Authentic Italian and beautiful decor – One of the most beautiful settings I have ever been in. You will not know it from the street, don't walk by, go right down those stairs and when you turn take a minute to look around.
Everything is very well prepared, the waiters are great, salads outstanding and the tramasu is a meal in itself (and I HATE coffee)!
I am not from DC, but I go back 3-4 times a year and I always try to get reservations before I go
