Best setting and great food! – Cafe Piccol offers a beautiful setting, away from the traffic and the noise of the street. The garden and water feature transport you away from the bustle of the outside world ... the perfect ambience for a romantic dinner for two (as my husband I experienced) or even a family get-together (which we also did when my parents came to visit). All that said, setting is nothing if the food isn't up to scratch. My husband is Italian, and prides himself on knowing the difference between average and excellent italian faire. The food was so INCREDIBLE, we were left discussing it for several days afterwards...the sauces, the garlic, the combinations of ingredients, mmmoi! A complete meal including apps and wine was around $50-60 from memory...not bad for a nice occasion. If you want cheap/average italian food in a cheesy environment, best look elsewhere. Cafe Piccolo is all class!

Romantic Italian – This is a busy yet quiet Italian restaurant in a very romantic setting.

Great Setting, Average Food – Aside from being incredibly busy and ringing with the buzz of quiet conversation, the garden setting was perfect for a romantic evening. While the fire pits, fresh flowers and candle glow was beautiful, the food did not match the high standards of the ambiance. The food was average and the service was slow, though friendly. The menu is Italian with a twist. It seemed capers, lemon butter and mushrooms dotted every other dish, making the selection seem even smaller. It made for a nice evening, but not a memorable one.
