Amazing Experience from start to finish!!! – I just had an wonderful day at the Spa at Ponte Vedra Inn. I was there spending a day with my mother to celebrate my 30th birthday. From the beginning the staff was welcoming and friendly. I have been to many top notch spas and this by far was the best experience to date. The building is beautiful and very clean and the pool was just breath taking. The ladies in the locker room, especially Ana, were so nice and went out of their way to make my day special. Christy did my massage and this was one of the best massages I have ever had and my mom had a facial with Seda and said it was to die for. I highly recommend going to the Ponte Vedra Spa for any occasion or just because. The prices were a little high BUT it was well worth it. You get what you pay for, and I definitely loved what I got!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! – DO NOT STAY HERE! The customer service is the worst I have ever encountered in my life. DO NOT attempt to use the spa, they are completely disorganized, rude. First they lost my appointment, tried to say it was because I was not old enough. Which added insult to injury. How do they know when I book the appointment what I look like? I told them I was twenty on the phone, I was still hasseled when I arrived. Remember the saying the customer is always right? well not here! The registration staff continued to argue with me about the lost appointment, as a result I lost about 30 mins of that service, when they had someone free to start with. That would have been the easy way to solve it first. They used the excuse, well I'm new. You still need to be doing your job correctly!
Groundbreaking lodgings carry on a tradition of style and luxury. – The Scene
Ponte Vedra Beach evolved from a mining town to a seaside holiday community in the 1920s, and this property was the first to take advantage of the shift. Established in 1928, it rapidly welcomed wealthy guests from the upper East Coast and Midwest. It introduced the area's first golf course and is now home to the championship Ocean and Lagoon Courses.
The lobby is impressive, with its columns, wood beam ceiling and polished wood floors. The rooms are variable, ranging from what feels like dressed-up standard hotel style to elegant, traditional décor. Eighteen rooms are available in the Historic Inn building, and a Penthouse Suite offers private elevator access, a sunken Jacuzzi tub and sweeping, fourth-floor ocean views. The resort combines resources with its sister property, the Lodge & Club, and offers a luxury spa and four swimming pools, including a heated lap pool and a children's wading pool. The Seafoam Room serves continental cuisine and private-label wines. Function space includes the Grand Ballroom and cherry paneled Executive Board Room. The resort attracts numerous business groups with its four-acre, team-building challenge course.
